Positive:

> Persuasion. Viktor has a way with words, having been a businessman for most of his life. While he can’t “charm” anyone, he can be pretty convincing when he wants to be. 

> Cooking. While Viktor isn’t a culinary prodigy, he has been practicing for many years. While he can mostly only cook European food (Russian, Romanian, German etc), he has also picked up “American” food quite well. Although he can’t eat food due to his undead status, his non-vampiric acquaintances quite appreciate the gesture. 

> Marksmanship. Viktor was part of the military for many years and occupied Romania with the USSR. During his time in the military, Viktor was an excellent shot and received numerous awards for it. 

> Jewelry-making. Viktor took up jewelry-making as a means to give Garridan more personalized gifts. Currently, he continues to make jewelry as a hobby, and has a pile of jewelry he’s made with the intention of one day returning to Garridan and giving them to him.

Negative:

> Can’t drive. When the automobile first came out, his father arranged for a personal driver for him. Because of this, Viktor never got around to learning how to drive and doesn’t currently plan on doing so. 

> Can’t mediate/comfort others well. Viktor is used to offering actual solutions to other peoples’ problems but he tries his best not to say anything that will make the situation worse. With Garridan, he tends to be more tender than with others, however, even comforting Garridan is limited to physical touch and small words of comfort for the most part. 

> Has trouble making genuine friends. Since Viktor is a businessman, most of his “friends” are merely business partners whom he has ties to. Many of said business partners are jaded, and Viktor is almost more comfortable talking to someone he’s legally tied to than someone he considers his friend. Due to his past and familiarity with ulterior motives, it is hard for Viktor to relax and open up to people about things.

CHARACTER BACKGROUND:

Viktor grew up in Russia in a wealthy family. For the first 18 years of his life, he lived as a “good son,” following his fathers’ orders and excelling in his studies. He lost his younger brother when he was 16 and became an only child. When Viktor became an adult, his father revealed to him that he had been turned into a vampire, and offered the same fate to his son. Viktor accepted, and was turned on the night of his 21st birthday. 

Following the turning, Viktor did many things, one being joining the military. He invaded and occupied Romania in the USSR, which is where he met Garridan. Within the year, they fell in love and Viktor turned Garridan into a vampire. 

Viktor also worked with his father to begin investing in the diamond industry, funneling wealth into the Russian mines. Viktor’s father now is a large contributor in fine jewelry companies, some of which are based in the US and some of which are European/Asian based. Viktor does help run the company, but is far more interested in making his own jewelry rather than wealth itself. 

Presently, Viktor is searching for Garridan and hoping to settle down in the city he finds his lover residing in. 

CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY: 

Viktor was raised as a socialite and can make small talk with even the most cantankerous of people. Depending on who he’s with, Viktor can be quite charming, friendly, and genuine. However, he is more often than not talking to acquaintances that are more interested in what they can get from him than Viktor himself. To this, he responds with sweet words, smiles, and his own underlying interests. He is not above manipulation within the business world, after all, most figure heads and people he works with are conniving, calloused supernaturals. 

Viktor also has a gentler side that he primarily shows only the closest of people, such as his mother or Garridan. He took up jewelry making solely to make jewelry for Garridan, though he has made a few pieces for his mother as well. 

Viktor enjoys fishing, hunting, and jewelry-making, although he does have other hobbies. Having grown up in Russia, Viktor is used to the snow and enjoys winter sports such as snowboarding, skiing, and ice skating. He really only has 2 tasks/goals in life: Find Garridan, and continue striving for eternal wealth at his father’s request.
