Product: Shell two chair
As its name suggests, the Shelltwo chair, by multi-disciplinary studio VW+BS, was developed by analyzing how natural organisms- like seashells or trees- build their structures layer by layer. Symmetrical and comfortable, the chair’s ergonomic seat is created using multiple 4mm wire rods, which then merge to follow its circular rim. Minimal, straightforward and lightweight, it can be used as an indoor or outdoor seat. An upholstered version as well as a barstool will launch later in 2013.
