Lightcycle Duel

As I moved into 2022 I decided that I needed to keep a balance between work, family, writing and art while making sure that I kept up with everything so I went back to my ‘projects list’ and thought that I should start doing some things for myself. Always had a soft spot for the original TRON and this is kind of a sequel to a project I did for my alphabet challenge a few years before. Still want a lightcycle though, would make my morning commute so much cooler :)

Alphabet Challenge 12: L Is For Lightcycles

In 2018 I set myself an ‘alphabet challenge’. Each week I would draw a picture related to a letter of the alphabet as I worked my way through the first half of the year. I often posted ‘What is it’ progress shots on my Deviant Art page so watchers could take a guess at where I was going with that particular week’s project. There really was only 1 option for ‘L’ and it had been in my mind for some time since I started this challenge. Always loved the look and designs from the original TRON movie and the whole lightcycle sequence was cutting edge back then but still looks cool today.
