#videogames evolution

Hello all. I hope this reaches someone who can help me.

I remember that at some point, Discovery Channel’s website had an online game about videogames evolution over the years. 

It was level based and each ‘level’ was a different type of game, maybe it was even decade based? I think it had a platformer, a clicker game, uhh something with lots of enemies? It’s all very vague. If I’m not mistaken, it started with a boy in a school or at some point you were there.

I’ve been trying to look for that online game but it seems to be forever lost, no documentation whatsoever. I’m pretty sure it was in my elementary school days (2003-2009) and I loved it A LOT, so I spent a lot of time just replaying it.

Does someone remember any of this? Is there a way to access this game ever again? I don’t know, it all just came back to me a couple of days ago.
