Another short film under my belt! This time it isn't one for class, I did this one for funsies!

It tackles burnout and the process of coming back around and remembering what it is you like to do and why, and features bright colors at the beginning. I wouldn't call it disturbing like my previous project but I'm still putting the warning out there just in case that's something you're sensitive to right now :3

So I didn’t expect my TNC video to get any attention,,,thank you to everyone that viewed it and enjoyed it! I didn’t share the poem I wrote for it cause it’s not my strongest work. But after that project my evil professor said he wanted something more “experimental” and “avant-garde” so I did this video along with this poem. The poem is about my sexuality and how I’ve felt about being a lesbian throughout my life. I’m always so moved when I hear stories of lesbians who were accepted from the start but that was not my experience. Not in the slightest. Anyways he said I could get even more experimental even after hearing my poem with the visuals and audio but he never complained about this with other students, many of whom didn’t do visuals. Who cares, song is called strain01 from the sweet pool ost; Fragment.

Because I’m never happy with anything I do, I decided to draw different character pieces for my reading of “Vargas”. They’re designed to be beside the title, which is why they all seem to list to the left lol. 

Uh.... Inspired by the original JTHM Comics with the high contrast black and white, but also church statues because our poor boy Edgar has a hard time due to his religion in this story haha. They might change because *Shrug* but I like them right now.

A star falls from the sky and into your hands. 

Then it seeps through your veins and swims inside your blood and becomes every part of you. 

And then you have to put it back into the sky. 

And it's the most painful thing you'll ever have to do and that you've ever done.

But what's yours is yours. 

Whether it’s up in the sky or here in your hands. 

And one day, it'll fall from the sky and hit you in the head real hard and that time, you won't have to put it back in the sky again.
