Brooo this is dystopian

tonight i re-watched the ‘too young to die’ documentary about heath (and sobbed like a baby for most of it) but i wanted to share this short clip.

i know that this is such a tiny detail about heath, but i’ve always been so drawn to his voice. it’s incredibly relaxing to me and i’ve never heard anything like it. john sums it up perfectly. his voice didn’t just resonate in his throat and come out of his mouth, it’s like it shook his whole body (like a subwoofer!) and slammed right into you.

i still can’t wrap my head around how he could create so many different accents and make it look so effortless when it is definitely not. the control you have to have vocally is insane. this is also just further proves my theory on why heath could definitely sing (one of his friends confirmed in an article that he was in a band for a short period of him at guilford !! and of course the classic bleacher  serenade from ten things). a lot of voice actors can also sing really well bc they have massive amounts of control over their voice. fuck, i think the whole world would have loved to hear him sing more.

anyways this rant got away from me, but stan heath ledger for clear skin 😌🥰
