It wasn’t every day that Dexter found himself in such a predicament, while his counterpart remained at their new place he had gone in search of a place to eat. Unfortunately, due to the timing of his arrival, everything seemed to be closed. Except for the places that he’d have rather not went inside of but they just moved in and had nothing to eat back at the apartment and he was still hungry. Unfortunate really considering things but he wasn’t willing to sleep it off until morning either.
He knew there was a reason he didn’t like bars in the first place, the overwhelming stench of alcohol combined with the scent of everyone inside was enough to make him nauseous. But still he continued on his path, heading straight for the bar in the hope that he’d get a quick meal and be on his way. Apparently, though that was not his fate. It was an accident, he knew this but that didn’t stop the sharp gasp of surprise that fell from his lips as the cold drink made contact, running down his chest and soaking his shirt.
Warm digits raise to grasp some of the napkins from the woman, offering his best smile in reassurance that he could. “It’s okay, it was only an accident.” As he began to pat himself down in an attempt to dry himself as much as he could, his eyes flickered back up towards her before blond brows knit in the center, a hint of worry shining within blue irises. “Are you alright, miss?” Clearly, she was intoxicated, from the glassy shine in her eyes to the way she spoke and acted, and though he knew for most people that’s why they came to such places, it didn’t stop the bit of worry from stirring within him. “Are you here with someone?” Surely she didn’t come alone, right? Wasn’t going to leave all by herself in such a vulnerable state.
