â } ~ So apparently having a job was mandatory in this place, no matter the personâs age. Not that Kazane minded or anything, but it took her a while to actually find one that seemed good enough. Still, when she noticed that the local flower shop was hiring, she immediately went in to check it out. It was a quaint, charming place, and working with plants and flowers sounded all sorts of pleasant to her! Now to find the manager or at least one of the employeesâŠ
She didnât need any special qualifications to work here, right? Since well, Kazane couldnât think taking care of plants and stuff required that much skill, but who knewâŠShe was sure sheâd pick it up along the way, at least. Maybea n interview wasnât needed either â Oh, there was a worker over there!! Alright, she should just leave all the questions she had for him to answer.
Although moving a bit closer, he seemed to be carrying aâŠsword? Whoa, he was huge up close too! Kazane didnât feel particularly intimidated, even if she did wonder why he found it necessary to carry around a sword like that inside a flower shop (was heâŠa samurai?!?!), but Blade immediately leaped out of her hoodie in alarm. She grabbed him before he could cause a ruckus, though he was still squawking in her arms. âShh, donât blow my chance of getting this job!â
She tried to be discreet, but the tall, dark and dark employee noticed them anyway. Quickly collecting herself, she beamed at him cheerfully.
âOh, hello!! See, I saw you guys were hiring, and I needed to get a job so I came in and everything. Iiiis there anything I need to do before I can get in? Like filing out paperwork, orâŠ?â She didnât exactly know how employment worked yet. Being a 5th grader does that to you.
