4. Do you think your style has changed over time? How so?

I think I’ve definitely improved as a writer overall. And I feel like I have a bigger set of tools that I’m working with than when I started in January. Like now I can and do write smut, I’m not as nervous of it as I used to be. I also write AUs now, which was a bit weird considering how canon compliant I started out, so that’s a good departure I think. Though I do think I might have also picked up a couple of bad habits that I definitely need to shake in the new year. It’s not going to be fun, but I have to do it if I want to grow. 

10. What theme keeps coming up in your writing? 

I think it’s two themes tbh. There’s self-growth and actualisation (often in terms of sexuality, but sometimes in terms of parenting and just love), and there’s unmaking and remaking. I’m a big fan of taking painful moments or memories and remaking them into something better and more positive and I feel like that keeps cropping up in my fics. 

14. You’re applying for the fanfic writer of the year award. What five fanfics do you put in your portfolio? 

I already answered this here! But I want to add that I’d sub out the last fic on that list with my Christmas Calendar fic for this year. I know it’s kind of a ridiculously ambitious and overly long effort on my part, but I’m always nervous about writing from Robert’s POV and tackling his views on his sexuality, but I did that in this one and I’m proud of that.

The ginger in the corner wasn’t amused by his playboy routine, too busy trying to get her coworker to stop double-dipping crudités. He thinks the bloke’s called…Fox, was it? Americans.

There he is again. Scruffy, quiet lad he’d spotted in the hotel pool. Reckoned he had to be American as well, the stubble’s very Don Johnson. Suits him, though. As does that tux.

I'm not great with words but I will try my best. It has been an absolute pleasure watching your blog for the past week or two. I especially loved reading your fics. You're so good at writing both of the boys and I can 100% hear their voices while reading, which I really struggle with a lot of the time. They are all so good but my favourite is definitely the monopoly one. Roblivion fics are some of my absolute favourites and you write them so well!! I hope there are more to come! I know I will definitely be reading them!

Your appreciation of dad!robert, liv, Ryan and more are so similar to mine and I love reading your tags! You're so nice and complimentary to everyone! I have loved everything that you have reblogged and posted and it has been a lovely addition the rest of the stuff I see. Aren’t you the kindest for keeping me e-company? Here’s them answers:

1. Things that inspire youThis is a tricky one because it can be anything really? Usually, it’s a scene I’ve felt is lacking, or a conversation I’d have wanted characters to have. But lately, I’ve found that what really speaks to me is a general or central theme of sorts in terms of what I want to explore when it comes to the characters or situation. (Like for Father’s Day, I really wanted to tackle fatherhood and co-parenting through both Aaron and Robert’s eyes.) 

12. Favourite place to write.In bed. It’s become a terrible habit, but I’ve been trying to get as much writing done as possible for my Big Bang before falling asleep. But it just ends up keeping me awake longer than I should. 

14. Easiest character to write.Aaron Dingle. I don’t know what it is about him, but his feelings and emotions come to me much more easily than Robert’s (he’s the one I find hardest to pin down). But that’s probably a sign that I need to sit down and write a few more Robert POV fics.
