Post-AGT Appearance 1223: Vic Jagger WDCJ 92.3 fm September 29
The Cheerleader Killings would have ended its theater run last Thursday just below $160 million. The songs would continue sinking. No one would have asked about Jean-Luc Godard. Ken Starr and James Florio would have been wagered on but neither would have reached the top 100 and no one would ask. Coolio would have started at 54, peaked at 40 in 2017 and died 64th. My agent would have called this morning for a comment. Phillip himself would have replied and it would have gone on our websites and the Clobert website earlier this hour. The first to quote it would be Vic Jagger, a woman disc jockey for adult contemporary station WDCJ in Maryland moments ago.
Jagger: Welcome back, this is Vic Jagger. The comments and condolences about Coolio keep rolling in. We have a new one from Phillip and Cole’s Variety Team. He’s a good guy, did a few silly rap songs, wrote Gory Ferguson, Missouri for the Black Lives Matter movement. He doesn’t do much for the black community anymore but that’s his business. Anyway he’s got this list called Celebrities who make Phillip sick. There’s one mystery name and in case someone thought Coolio was the last name he sent this memo just now.
Phillip: I can’t imagine why anyone thought Coolio was the last name on my list. His song Gangsta’s Paradise is perhaps the most cerebral rap song ever.
Jagger: Right on, Phil, right on.
