Hey y'all it's Nadia again!
So I was talking with my uncle about the idea of having a blog documenting my journey with Silasism, and he said that it was niche enough that I should probably offer an explanation of what it is?
So apparently two thousand years ago there was this minor religious figure, Silas, and after his prominence as a bishop, he received visions from The Seven.
Who are The Seven? I really only know details about Viarium and Jishin (they're the gods I worship), but essentially there was a point where the entity who set the universe into motion (not Creationism, Creationists DNI!) lost hope for some reason and split itself into seven different entities. They exist everywhere throughout the universe and each embody fundamental attributes of existence.
Viarium embodies the different potential futures that could be (and thus, the Path you will walk to find fulfillment), and Jishin embodies the passage of time and the beginnings and endings of phases of life! I find them to be the most interesting of the Seven, so they're who I connect with!
I'll do a post later on with the other five Aspects, but basically Silas is the first one who decided to transcribe anything about the Seven (and have his writings survive to 2025 π« ), so Silasism was named after him, since he's the oldest known practitioner!
Hello tumblr!
My name is Nadia, and I wanted to make a blog where I could dive deep into Silasism, since it's recently changed my life for the better!
The main focus of my blog will be the major worship of Viarium (because tbh The Path has helped my mental and physical health sm recently!) with secondary focus on Jishin!
I think I'm just going to post my thoughts and ways that Viarium and Jishin are influencing me as their miracles happen, and maybe I'll explore some of Silas's other teachings of I feel called to them? I don't know a ton about the Seven (my uncle very recently introduced me to Silasism) but I guess we'll just see where The Path takes us!
Much love and Stride Bravely
