the showrunner has talked about vi's protectiveness and i just see her as an enforcer as a means for her to protect caitlyn and jinx? (perhaps even protect them from each other) i honestly dont see how shes a cop for the city of piltover, it feels alil more personal to her

Is there a single episode in the first season of Arcane where Vi did something for herself or for her own benefit? The answer is of course not. Vi, since she was a child, has protected and cared for others before caring for herself. She protected her sister, Mylo, Calggor, and Ekko.
Vander reminded her all the time, even when she was a teenager, that she was responsible for what happened to them. Is it reasonable after all this to expect Vi to be selfish? I mean honestly, what would Vi gain from joining the Enforcers other than the hatred of the Zaun people for her, and her friends like Ekko?
In short, the main reason Vi would join the Enforcers would be to protect both cities. She would be like a "Safety Keeper" or something like that, and I've said this before when someone asked me about it, because I'm one of the people who saw the leaks, and the only thing I can tell you is that something will happen in Piltover that will force Vi to join them.
