Novas take down OTT in Inaba VGCS finals video, tournament made up of 35% Oracle Think Tank cardfighters
Early yesterday morning the 2nd Inaba VGCS crowned Nova Grappler cardfighter Hyoga its champion, marking the first big win for the clan in the V-BT01 format. Previously the highest Nova Grappler had placed was second at the TraCaider VGCS, the day after the first booster set launched. The finals were livestreamed over TwitCast, and recordings can be viewed below, along with decklists for the top cut.
Grand finals saw Hyoga face off with Suga, playing Oracle Think Tank; the fight for third-place was also a Nova versus Oracle match. Suga previously made fourth at last week's Sukacat VGCS team tournament. These matches saw the most-played clan of the tournament and of the format going up against the least-played, which makes Hyoga's triumph all the most surprising.

Pokemon Sun and Moon Commissions! (Game)
Hey there! Do you play Sun and/or Moon, but don't have much time for training or breeding because of other concerns? Want to get some Pokemon and have the effort done for ya? Look no further than me! While breeding optimal Pokemon, I figure, if someone's looking for a certain Pokemon or Egg Move set, I figure why not see if anyone would be interested? It'll help me fund some things such as a new microphone so people can hear me better during Satellite videos and the such. Who knows, maybe it'll help kickstart a lot of projects. Prices: 100 DA Points OR $1 Dollar: A Hatched Pokemon with the right nature, IVs, and Egg Moves. 300 DA Points OR $3 Dollars: A trained Pokemon with the moveset you desire. It will be at least 50 or above, which will be tournament legal for the Pokemon VGCs, Online Competitions, and Smogon. (If your Pokemon needs transfer-only moves, such as the Elemental Punches in ORAS, this will not be available.) SPECIAL NOTE: I WILL NOT BE DOING LEGENDARY POKEMON. HOWEVER, Shiny Pokemon are the only exclusion from this. I have notoriously bad luck, so I don't ever expect hatching a Shiny (Although I have hatched an unexpected Shiny Shellos and Surskit before), but I will say this: If I manage to hatch a Shiny Pokemon from the requested commission, it will be yours for free along with your requested Pokemon! I don't have a particular interest in Shiny Pokemon (Except my favorites such as some Bug types and a Latios), and such if I hatch one when I'm trying to hatch a commission, I will give it to the buyer. The Shiny Pokemon will not be trained, but I will include it in the Screenshot and ask if you want to nickname it. If you don't want it, it is also fine by me. If you wish to place an order, or a commission, note me your request, and payment will come as such. -Commissioner asks for request -I hatch/train said request -Take a clumsy screenshot -Commissioner pays -Exchance Friend Codes to do the trade -Trade Pokemon -Done Deal Time Frame: The time frame really depends on what I'm doing. If you're looking for a hatched Pokemon, it'll be ready in about 2-5 days. Trained Pokemon take a little longer, especially for the bigger ones such as Tyranitar or the hard to raise ones such as Hydreigons. However, if I take longer than a week, you have the right to pull your order back. I will understand. However, the same goes for myself as if I'm constantly being asked when is the Pokemon, I will refuse the order. A couple of rules too: -I'm a busy writer and I work retail, and I have a lot of other things on my plate. As such, some things do take time to complete. Hence the two to five days, especially if I'm booked on other commissions. -Those who have read and commented on my stories before this post do get a half-off deal. Which means hatched Pokemon are 50 cents a piece and trained are a $1.50. (This is a really small list, so there's that. Any comments after this will be considered for future sales if this takes off.) -Since I'm new to doing commissions, I will be taking almost anyone interested, but you can only request two at a time for now. Also you will be in order as I will update my status on DA almost daily to check in on the status of your commissions. -If this takes off and it starts getting popular, I might do more slots and such. First Vanguard Championship of Standard format to be held June 3rd, 2018
The Sukacat CS, an unofficial Cardfight!! Vanguard tournament series dating back to January 2015, announced Friday it will be rebooting alongside the game itself this June. The "first" Sukacat Championship will be held June 3rd, 2018, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Tournament Center "Bato Loco" in Takadanobaba, the neighborhood that first birthed the Vanguard Championship series six years ago.
In March 2012 the first VGCS tournament ever was held just four blocks away at the neighboring Horindo bookstore, but the championship series has long since outgrown these smaller venues. The Sukacat CS will host 126 cardfighters divided into 42 3-man teams. Unlike many of the civic centers VGCS events have previously been held at, Bato Loco is an arena created specifically to host trading card tournaments. It seats a maximum of 130 players at one time, making it one of the largest TCG-dedicated venues in Tokyo.
First place will win 12 boxes of V-Booster Set 01: UNITE! TEAM Q4, and three "Version 001" Sukacat VGCS playmats featuring Tokura Misaki and CEO Amaterasu. Second place will win 6 boxes of V-BT01 and three Sukacat playmats, third place will win 3 boxes, and fourth place will walk away with a single box to split among their three members.
The Sukacat CS organizers are also preparing custom Gift Markers featuring their playmat design. It should be noted that while custom markers are allowed in VGCS, Cardfight!! Vanguard producer Shimamura Masatoshi stated last month that custom markers should not be used in official tournaments.

New Segment: Pokemon Reviews!
So, despite this blog being more or less a fiction reviews blog, itβs just been hard to read and find other things. But Iβve been crazy addicted to raising competitive Pokemon, so I just decided, why not just make posts about Pokemon?
However, Iβm always willing to say, right off the top, Iβm nowhere near a top trainer. Iβm just what Smogon and a lot of VGC players call,Β βA filthy casualβ, so these will be written through the experiences and testing of a casual. Since this is Sun and Moon, Iβll go over several things.Β

First off, here would be just my description of the Pokemon itself. I would say just normal decriptions, but itβll just be my opinion based on how it plays. Then, the rest will be seperated into three different sections: Single Battles, Doubles, and Battle Royales.Β Again, itβs mainly from a casual point of view, I just go off from what I commonly see whenever I go into Battle Spot or look at the info on the VGC competitions. (Which is the same Top Ten Pokemon every single competition)

News: Narukami Fighter Wins Dolce Cup, Yamato CS Decklists
Kanazawa Workers' Plaza, Ishikawa prefecture, Japan. Twenty-one hours ago the Dolce Cup finished its run, with first place at the tournament taken by "Thermos," playing Narukami. Second place went to Bill playing Shadow Paladin, third place to Fujimaru and fourth place Mopii, both also playing Shadow Paladin decks. No decklists for the finalists have been given as of yet, but a complete breakdown of the participants by clan is available below. Shadow Paladin was the most played clan of the tournament, accounting for 25% of all decks played, with Royal Paladin as its closest runner-up at 15%.

Decklists from the Dolce Cup are not yet available, but the results of the Yamato CS have been made public through the tournament's organizational site. First-place team Suddenly Sussan was lead by Sanctuary Guard cardfighter Chris, and captained by Pitarui--organizer of the regular Pitarui VGCS tournaments--playing Phantom Blaster βAbyss,β with the team's eponymous fighter Sussan taking up Dragonic Overlord βThe Xβ for the tournament. These three decks have emerged as some of the most prominent matchups of the Sovereign Star Dragon-on format, with Sanctuary Guard in particular being a breakout deck among Royal Paladin cardfighters due to how it can seamlessly integrate Jewel Knight and generation break support to overwhelming effect.
Although its contemporary contender Thing Saver Dragon will likely never disappear from the game entirely, for the time being Sanctuary Guard has against all odds come out as the dominant Royal Paladin deck. The addition of Sanctuary Guard Guarantee has given the deck stable grade 3 options for meeting the specific-heart criteria of Regalie; seeing as Guarantee is currently in circulation as part of Cardfight Pack Vol. 13 in the English-language format, his price internationally is likely to increase in face of these results.
