Chapter 26!

Found a WIP from March 2024. Oops. Didn't mean to take that long on it. Anyway! It's been a while since I've drawn VLD Pidge as a bat. So, here I am with her again. Gods, she's too adorable. And hanging out with VF Chip! I'm sure he doesn't mind the company.

At one point I came across this past piece of VV era of Chip and Ki-Hana reading. And thinking drawing Ki-Hana for VF era, I had to go for it and redraw them in VF era, still reading together. Now with more comforts. Now odds are that Ki-Hana can read and write Balton and Earth English. But Chip still probably reads to him because it's good bonding.

IS IT A COINCIDENCE I HAPPEN TO REALLY ENJOY MEDIA WITH BLUE AND GREEN CODED BROTHERS???

I apparently got this done a lot sooner than I thought. Okay, so let's start from the beginning. There was musing with @breadstickcat about Pidge and Stereolactic, and one thing led to another, now we have the concept that Pidge is joined by his twin, Chip, his cousin, T'kro, and Noro (who may be a cousin by adoption?) and potentially with each of them being DJ prong depending on the timing and needs while utilizing holograms of themselves masked and costumed up for most showings since it's hard timing themselves to get together. So. I had desires of drawing them like on a cover album, but not masked. Thus the Stereolactic "Unmasked" album! Finally showing their faces. The posing and style was from this photo as a reference.

I actually WAS aiming for an edit, but I ended up going with the whole freaking redraw because that was actually easier. Remember the old idea of Chip and Ki-Hana getting along? Yeah, that hit my mind again and my brain went "Great! What if we apply it to VF?" So, a VF-inized Ki-Hana with Chip, giving Chip some changes to his clothes and features. And I am pleased. It was not easy working out some things with Ki-Hana to suit the VF style, but I think I did well in the end.

So, post-Brains, that area is cleared up a bit of the junk Maahox left. And Chip still prioritize greeting Hunk before Pidge. Don't worry, Pidge, I'm sure Ki-Hana will gladly greet you. Thank you @breadstickcat for the dialogue.
