I headcanon Veylor (or whatever the frick you want to call this ship) kind of likes to lowkey break gender roles. Like Michael tries his best to cook for Taylor even if he fails miserably sometimes (if he does they'll resort to Spaghetti O's, which he is one of the few things he can cook reliably). He tries to clean for her too because in the apartment with his mom he cleaned for her. Or Taylor might see a pretty flower that reminds her of Michael's eyes and give it to him for fun, even though it embarrasses him a little.
