what are your thoughts on vexen/saix
when or if I started shipping it. Oh god, Cats In Boxes, whenever the hell I read that. Time is a fucking mystery to me. I’m 80% sure I was linked to it by silvestris but there’s still a chance I just got lost on the internet back when I really shipped 411 hardcore.
my thoughts: Someone give me a gif of that bit in that Simpsons episode where Lisa becomes a vegetarian and the roast pig goes on an epic adventure while Homer keeps saying ‘it’s just a little ‘x’, it’s still good, it’s still good.’
What makes me happy about them: It breeds ridiculously intelligent philosophical fanfic like crazy and they are both glorious douchebags.
What makes me sad about them: All the good fic gets jossed harder and harder with each canon update. Also it’s pretty good for incredibly unhappy endings because, well, we all know how things went for them, but that’s a good kind of sad so, yeah.
things done in fanfic that annoys me: Anything that assumes a relationship and does nothing to build it or make me believe it is a thing that is happening.
things I look for in fanfic: pretentiousness no, I just like them to have clearly been thought about extensively and make me think while I read.
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I ship Vexen with pretty much everyone so I don’t actually curr who he ends up with provided it entertains me. Saix, if he ever gets un-xehaborged, I suppose he can go be with Lea. IDK, I don’t think about other Saix ships much. I would not be opposed to him being with no one in particular and going off to be his own villain in his own right instead as a certain someone suggested to me once.
My happily ever after for them: The can go be cranky old dudes in rocking chairs yelling at those damn children to get off their lawn or something. IDK, I’m bad at happy endings but the thought of them doing that together makes me happy so it’ll do.
what is their favorite non-sexual activity: Talking, oh god there is a lot of talking.They honestly don’t share much in the way of hobbies or choice in activities they sometimes get a common ground on conversation providing Vexen doesn’t try to take over the conversation or go completely way the fuck off tangent on subjects only he actually gives a shit about.
