BASKET AUCTION

We are pleased to announce our third event here at Vesta! It will be done a little differently than previous events as this is more of a pairing event rather than group wide one. 

The event will begin Friday, July 17th at 12pm EST and end on Friday, July 25th at 12pm EST.

LOCATION

The auction itself will take place Magdelena Theater, however dates can occur all over the city. 

SPECIAL FEATURES

Raising funds for the historic theater, this is an annual event!

It is a silent auction where people bid on picnic baskets and then go on a lunch date with owner of the basket. 

HOW IT WILL WORK

Any muses that are interested in participating in the event will need to like this post. In the event, that you have multiple muses on the same account- please comment if you would like any of your muses LEFT OUT of the event. Please do so by Thursday 12 PM EST

Friday before noon, all members will be messaged their partner for the event. This will be randomized. You will also be given the location. It is up to you to determine who put the basket up for auction, and who actually placed the bids on it. 

Starting on Friday, you may begin threading the event with your partner! 

This event is meant to bring out new connections with characters, please take advantage of this opportunity to the best of your abilities. It will only work if everyone is active.

And so is the wine,” she finished off her rambling explanation about the contents of the basket with an awkward chuckle, helping the other spread the food on the blanket they’d laid down near the botanical garden’s flower display. “And it’s all made by professionals, so I can guarantee you it’s edible. Which wouldn’t have been given if these had anything to do with it.” Lysa wiggled her fingers playfully, looking up at Maisie. Seeing the thing the girl had just pulled out of the basket, she pulled a face, however. “Except for these. These are dog treats, I’m afraid. Shaped like little rings.. See? You don’t just happen to have a dog, do you?” 

“i have a surprise for you!” the blonde exclaimed when they finally got out of the car. it had been a tough ride of google map giving wrong indications and minnie being straight up terrible at following’s christian directions, but they finally made it to the beach. she went to open the door for her friend’s dogs to jump out of her car before she continued her way to the trunk. two baskets waited for them. she grabbed the smaller one, overflowing with all the items she bought earlier that day. by the way the dogs started to bark and wiggle their tails, she could tell they guessed the presents were theirs. “... or more for your babies, but it’s close enough!” an adorable giggle followed her words. “i’ve actually never been here so i trust your instincts to find us the best spot!”

Here are the random pairings for the event! Please remember that threads begin tomorrow at noon and can run through next week. You are able to pick the location and who brought/bid on the basket. If you muse is listed and they should not be, please contact the main as soon as possible!
