happy birthday, vessel

I think of taking that inevitable fact that we’re going to die, and realizing that I have a body, I have a life, I have a voice. It’s a vessel that really holds something. The vessel’s not that important, the important thing is what’s inside of that vessel, and right now I have a message; I have something to say. I thought it would be cool to name an album Vessel, because even inside of that packaging, behind that cover, there’s a message. - Tyler Joseph
