I found a very old doodle from 2017 where I had drawn a widow yellowjacket wearing a hoodie, except it was from a different angle and had a set of the hoodie "arms" missing. I decided to refurbish it.
I can be very random at times.
8 years ago today, this queen Vespula vidua flew into my room from the open window, and I couldn't resist taking a little video before releasing her back outside. 🥹
Cartoon of the day. When I originally drew this a few years ago, the wasps were much closer together with the bottom halves cropped out. Trying to redraw it was awkward, so I made some changes. Spring is also finally here! I couldn't be happier about that.

Spicy butterfly. 🌶🦋 😅 Butterwasp? Waspfly? Here is your daily dose of silly. A long time ago in primary school, I forget if it was a dream or just a strange idea, but I had done a drawing of a wasp with butterfly wings. Maybe people would like them more if their wings were more fashionable? Either way, it looks funny, and I had fun drawing this.

I realized after drawing, that the Vespula vidua in the picture is actually a male. Regardless of caste, I'm sure the same outcome would have happened.
Fun with wasps. Technically the Vespula is wearing a dark yellow hoodie, but it came out looking orange on the scan.
