Pretty self-explanatory, I think! Most wasps are small, parasitoids, and can't even sting! They're all beautiful in my eyes (even yellowjackets)! The Pompilid in the top left corner can sting, but it's not black and yellow, so it gets a pass.
Wasps FTW!
big gorgeous thynnid flower wasp from the swamp. you'd think something this big and distinctive would be identifiable, wouldn't you
"Does it have to be something that kills you? No. It is just a little thing. It could be anything. It could be something beautiful." — The Raven King, Maggie Stiefvater

Bug Fact #011
Over 90% of bees are solitary. The species that are social and live in hives are actually a minority.
An example of a solitary bee is the carpenter bee (genus zylocopa), which is also the largest type of bee in North America.
This is one I found on a walk the other day. A beautiful Eastern Carpenter Bee.

□ Danaus the Consultant of the Swarm □
Ayo, new Overlord OC out of nowhere? More likely than you think.
A NPC created by Apocrita (a.k.a Mushichu), Danaus may seem like another part of the Entomancers expansive roleplay, which he most definitely is, but make no mistake, this butterfly is a pain to fight if you are unprepared.
Boasting a wide array of status spells and abilities, buffs and debuffs, as well as utility magic, Danaus was made to be the ideal supporfor to players as the need arises... or at least that can be the case if one does not take notice of his frail defenses and low hp pool.
Still, with a astute strategical mind and highly loyal sense of duty, Danaus will prove to be an essential ally to Apocrita in her time in the New World.
I realized that i took this video... anyway here's a long lady!
