So a lot of people are talking about haku as the traitor and blah blah blah, but I wanna point out the obviousness of it. I don't normally like the whole traitor among us plot but they have a chance to make this really interesting, the devs have been pretty well at disclosing the twisting and unexpected plot they have planned.

The most obvious suspects for the traitor are :

Students: tohma,haku, Subaru, kaito

Faculty: Hyde, From what I've seen possibly Nicholas.

A major thing is those characters have been shown with some suspicion surrounding them from others, but this could simply be a distraction from the actual idea.

I think the traitor is the most unexpected person we can get from our limited character list.

So we have 4 options, the chancellor, haru, Yuri or taiga.

The chancellor makes the list because if anyone is going to try to destroy something, it would be best to get to a position of power.

Haru is a little more difficult to explain but personally, if anyone is going to betray people, it's going to be the one who seems so cheery. The ideal location to have a traitor would be the house with the least amount of students, and the ones who march to their own beat. Haru can very easily get away with having an area only he knows of in such a large dorm area, especially when Ren hates doing stuff and towa is just running around eating flowers and daydreaming. Haru befriended a significant number of people who are very different, From towa to rui and Romeo, he probably has access to a good amount of student drama and rumors.

And now, taiga. He's a lunatic and way smarter than he lets on. Firstly his stigma, he can sacrifice a single memory for a glimpse into the future, so he probably knows who the traitor is, that being said it could be him. The best way to throw someone off your trail is to tell them information first, and if I recall correctly,he was the first to mention traitors. Another thing is that he's a trigger happy lunatic who's too smart for his own good, either he knows something and he's using it against the other ghouls or he knows something and he's using it against the faculty or the traitor. He's pretty 50/50.

Yuri is the one who seems to have the most obvious grudges against other ghouls, or more importantly, their houses. First is frostheim , because it was his former house and seemingly the place where he started his dedication to anomalous medicine. I'm going to be for real, I got a little lost with the info from the latest mortkranken episode, so I'm not running on a lot. Yuri could be the classic good boy gone bad situation, where he's kinda unaware at the moment how much he sides with the school more than the other ghouls then he just snaps.

But that's just a theory.

A GAME THEORY

Subaru kagami who spent months after the abuse scandal harming himself. Hours crying in the bathroom while sliding a blade across his skin because he's so angry at himself

He flipped out for no reason and now his life is ruined by a misunderstanding and a tough day

Subaru kagami who got hospitalized for contemplating suicide because he hated himself, questioning if he was worth the air and space

Subaru kagami who showed up to darkwick with the promise of putting everything else first, that he had a second chance and he won't mess it up this time.

Subaru kagami who gets an overwhelming sense of dread when he feels like he offended/scared/hurt/ect someone and drops to his knees in apologies begging for forgiveness
