Hi hi! So, today Iâm stuck home sick from school and that got me thinking about a Thallen high school AU where they meet when theyâre assigned partners on a history project. (History nerd!Eddie anyone?) -S

OH NO HISTORY NERD EDDIE :O maybe his dad is a professor at some prestigious university, and when eddie was little (like, 4-ish??) his dad would come home from his lectures and eddie would get to hear all these stories about amazing war heroes and historical events that were SO enthralling that he began to develop a real interest in the subject. (his dad walks out on him and his mom when he turns 12, but that only makes eddie want to learn history more--he channels his anguish into delving deeper into the world of the past, vows he's gonna be a better professor than his dad ever was)
so of course barry walks into this class TOTALLY unprepared to be saddled with the President of the Historical Society. and it's a little weird at first because barry thinks eddie is gorgeous, but they're on two different levels, so he just kind of awkwardly babbles whenever they talk; eddie finds it endearing, but keeps his mouth shut because he doesn't want to scare barry away (MUTUAL PINING ANYONE???)
