Send me a @ and I’ll generate an au from this list and make a starter —12: Not Dead!AU ( currently : accepting ) There were times where Green disappeared for days. Days would turn to weeks, and weeks would turn to months— but no one ever worried because he always made his way back into the lives of those closest to him, usually when they least expected him to return. After all, during serious training regiments and idle travels his PokeNav wasn’t always working ( nor was it always on hand for that matter ). This was a simple fact those closest to him had come to accept.
It was only when one month turned to three, and three had days added onto it that people had become worried. —A missing person report was filed, but it was impossible to know where to start. Any enemies he might have weren’t known to the public, although there were many of them. The whole of Team Rocket, the Elite Four, not to mention the wrong people who he had put in their place countless of times. Indeed there were people who wanted Green gone.
This is why he left. —Green was sensible, and he knew how to tell false threats apart from those that were real. Rocket Grunts swearing for their revenge were not real issues. The Dragon Master however, was. Hiding out seemed like the best thing to do. Fly to another region, live off the land while training, leaving no trace behind. After a year people stopped looking for him.
He sees Blue ( he wouldn’t be able to forget such an obnoxious girl after just a year ) and he knows she isn’t in the region to look for him— in fact, the news of his disappearance probably didn’t mean much to her. Admittedly he would like to see the look on her face if she realized he was, in fact, alive, but also debates on how safe it would be to expose himself.
With his hood pulled on the shadows skewed his face enough that she wouldn’t be able to make most of his features out. However his wardrobe, his voice—— - would she recognize it?
▶ ❝I’m surprised you’re so far from home.❞
There were times where Blue would consider herself a bad luck charm when it came to her childhood and young adolescent years. However, the problematic events began to cease and, for once, she felt like she could finally live the life she wanted; with a family and friends.
While all dex holders in Kanto went separate ways, Blue still made an attempt to stay in contact and see them every now and again - and for the most part it worked. She failed on many occasions to contact Green, not that she was surprised. He always seemed to be distant towards her. But it wasn’t until others experienced the same difficulties as her. It was actually when his grandfather asked how he was that made her realize that he wasn’t responding to anyone.
At the beginning, when the investigation first began, Blue was worried. But, over time her distress turned into a passing thought that came around every once in a while.
The brunette walks, minding her own business as she aims for her destination. She would eye people down, silently judging their sense of style but never acknowledge them longer than she needs. When she hears a voice, which seems to be directed at her, Blue’s upper lips curls into a snarl of disgust while her eyes quickly scan the person up and down.
"Now, why would you know where I live, creep?" The voice sounds familiar, almost at the tip of her tongue, but she is unable to match a face to the voice.

The intruding thoughts had been resting on his mind all day, all week, all month. On a desolate plain one has too much time to mull over, to think about what they have done and what they should have done, who they hurt and who they should not have. Even if these thoughts arose to late or too soon, on a mountain of snow after seven long years it really should not have mattered. But it did. It was all that mattered and all that had mattered since it happened that day at the league, since Red beat Green a final time. Even now, Red still doubted Green had forgiven him, even thought of him as a friend anymore. The spite from that day still loitering between them.
Green came up the mountain often enough, even if his visits were filled with retained silence or awkward small talk, it was enough to realise that they were not who they once were, they were no longer on the same page of the same story like they were back when they were children. Mainly because, Red had never spoke since then, not properly. Lying in the snow, head resting on his palms as the chilling substance pressed and dampened his jacket, unwavering and cold features watched the clouds roll past as they did each day, hearing the foot steps of a close friend crunching the snow. ' So he's here again. ' Red thought, not bothering to lower his gaze from the sky. The thoughts that dwelled on him spilling out of his mouth before he had even thought them through.
" ---You know that I regret it,right? Winning that is. "

A vivid pain lingered at the back of his head, the iced blood that stained the area not really assisting the problem. By now, with some assistance, Red had meandered back to the cave which he typically resided in, the path not being all to difficult due to it being engraved into his memory how it went. He hadn't even realized how well he knew the area if the weather was okay. Of course this could change in an instant, and really worsen the situation. Not that it could be much worse to be on a freezing mountain in the middle of nowhere and suddenly blind.
The ebony haired boy contemplated his situation, since there wasn't much else he could do for the time being. He had food for a few days, and pokemon that knew the area. Flying wouldn't be the best idea not because he didn't trust charizard but more because he didn't trust himself since he went blind there really wasn't any doubt he also had a concussion, and he could already feel that settling in.
A cold wet nose prodded away at the underside of his arm, greeting him with a whine. Jolts of static that licked the fabric and popped against his skin as the creature burrowed its way up onto his chest told him it was pikachu, who now sniffed his chin, nose whistling in the process. The trainer danced his fingers across the pokemons face until he found an ear and scratched it with his thumb and index finger until it drooped down into a more relaxed position.
The steady silence was broken by the crunching of snow and rocks that echoed throughout the cave from the entrance, and Red heavily debated sulking further into the wall to not be found, or addressing whatever approached. Saying something out weighed hiding by a long shot, but he was really dreading needing the assistance as he called out.
❝ ...Who's there?❞
If it was a wild pokemon that somehow found its way to the summit, he honestly wouldn't be surprised, nor would it be the first time he asked something a question that it couldn't reply to.
{ Bops him gently on the arm. }
"Hey, Green? Can I ask you something?"
