#verse; grieving

Yellow was persistent on making sure that the cluster would emerge, but it felt.. wrong. It was her planet after all, and she loved it so much. Her clarity shook away her thoughts and her cold eyes landed on her confident sister, “It’s unnecessary, and she wouldn’t have wanted it.” 

Yellow Pearl was always so happy when White Diamond would visit. Not only was she one of the most radiant and brilliant Diamonds in the authority but she actually enjoyed her company! That was quite rare. Most gems found Yellow Pearl to be snooty and annoying. Even her own Diamond at times.

She carefully stepped onto the White Monarch’s palm. A grin painted across her face in delight.  “It’s always an honor to speak to you your grand clarity! I always look forward to your visits. What would you wish to discuss?”

White brought her hand back up gently, as she wanted yellow’s pearl to be comfortable with speaking to her- there were very few who were. 

As always, whenever white was going to visit yellow, her sister’s loyal attendant was always there to greet her happily and respectfully. White looked down at her with the faintest of smiles on her face.

That is a pearl who is happily doing her job.

In a time of war, White Diamond often called on very special soldiers, made specifically for advanced fighting. They belonged in White’s court but they were never seen, for they weren’t clear. They were black. Pitch black. White intended for their appearance to strike fear into any gem. 

One of her strongest fighters was Serendibite. There were very few like her, she was smart, and a skilled fighter. She had been called to a meeting by White Diamond. 

“There is work to be done.” 

White looked down at her sister with evident disappointment. It had been years, and no matter how much she and yellow tried to distract blue- the sad diamond would could not get over their sister’s shattering.
