hours  of  going  ‘round  and  ‘round  in  circles,  her  interrogators  attempting  to  catch  her  in  a  lie.  she  truly  believes  they  want  to  find  something  that  makes  her  guilty,  that  will  make  it  easy  to  throw  her  away  like  the  rest  of  the  project.  gaea  doesn’t  blame  them.  she  deserves  to  rot  in  a  cell.  she  had  been  prepared  to  rot  in  that  house  with  the  corpse  of  her  father,  had  been  ready  to  burn  with  the  rest  of  the  project.  and  then  owen  had  tossed  her  over  his  shoulder,  had  dragged  her  away  and  brought  her  with  him.  and  it  didn’t  really  matter  that  she  hadn’t  held  a  gun  until  she  had  fought  against  eden’s  gate,  doesn’t  matter  she  didn’t  start  shedding  blood  until  she  was  fighting  peggies.  what  matters  is  that,  for  a  time,  she  had  been  silent.  obedient.  hadn’t  done  a  damn  thing  to  stop  what  was  going.  so  gaea  will  be  honest.  she  will  give  them  every  gritty  detail.  but  then  she  thinks  she’ll  hold  out  her  wrists  so  they  can  put  the  cuffs  on  her,  whether  they  find  her  deserving  or  not.

              unable  and  unwilling  to  leave  her  blind  father’s  side  when  he  suddenly  decides  he  wants  to  move  to  montana,  gaea  finds  herself  in  the  lovely  hope  county  and  the  new  owner  of  a  lovely  cottage.  though  not  religiously  inclined,  her  desire  to  make  friends  and  be  a  part  of  something  has  her  becoming  a  part  of  pastor  jerome  jeffries’  congregation.  and  when  numerous  of  them  decide  to  join  eden’s gate,  she  goes  with  them.  she  always  has  an  uneasy  feeling  but  she  sticks  to  it,  allowing  herself  to  be  baptized  and  for  her  sin  to  be  permanently  etched  on  her  skin.  and  by  the  time  she’s  let  in  on  the  carnage  that  is  taking  place,  the  intimidation  and  the  murder  and  the  brainwashing,  it’s  too  late.  with  her  land  the  home  of  a  radio  tower  and  jacob’s  more lucky  house  guests  being  brought  to  her  home  to  be  healed,  gaea  does  what  she  can  to  get  them  back  on  her  feet.  it  isn’t  until  owen  grady  that  she  thinks  it’s  possible  for  the  project  to  be  taken  down.  and  it  isn’t  until  he  helps  her  that  she  fights  back.

key  things  in  this  verse:

the  events  of  the  game  taken  place  between  march  27  and  august  28, 2018.  a  year  before  then,  gaea  and  her  blind  father  titan  move  to  fall’s  end  in  hope  county,  montana.  because  of  her  experience  volunteering  at  a  clinic  in  new  york  city,  she  acts  as  a  doctor  at  her  home,  usually  dealing  with  those  coming  from  jacob’s  compound.  her  kind  and  compassionate  nature  help  them  heal  mentally.  it  isn’t  until  owen  grady,  the  one  that  never  broke  and  is  only  brought  back  to  heal  and  then  be  tortured more,  that  things  change  for  her.  after  the  death  of  her  father,  he  convinces  her  ( read:  carries  her  away  )  to  join  up  with  the  resistance.  it  takes  approximately  six  months  to  compromise  the  compounds  and  defeat  the  heralds.

on  august  28th,  2018,  jacob  seed  is  arrested.  during  the  preliminary  hearing,  and  by  special  request,  gaea  gives  her  testimony  and  the  hearing  lasts  for  three  hours.  between  august  28th  and  october  30th,  2018,  gaea  buys  herself  a  cabin  and  two  acres  of  land  in  montana.  she  begins  taking  the  steps  to  make  a  life  for  herself:  tending  her  land,  taking  online  classes  for  writing  and  opening  up  a  booth  at  the  local  farmer’s  market.  on  november  7th,  2018,  she  is  hospitalized  for  a  week  because  of  the  side  effects  of  milk  sickness,  received  from  cows  that  have  ingested  white  snakeroot.  

from  june  3rd,  2019  and  onward,  gaea  lysimachia  and  owen  grady  enter  into  a  relationship.  during  april  2020,  gaea  finds  out  that  there  is  a  hacker  erecting  a  new  eden’s  gate  and  acting  under  the  will  of  father  jacob  seed  and  god.  the  only  reason  that  gaea  is  informed  of  what  is  going  on  is  because  her  address  is  found  in  a  decoded  message  between  the  hacker  and  his  followers.

ship:   owen  grady  ( @chaordiic )  is  her  pillar,  her  confidante  and  the  person  who  believed  in  her  the  most.  he’s  the  one  she  trusts  with  her  body,  heart  and  soul.  as  it  is,  this  is  the  only  ship  that  will  happen  in  this  verse.  new  dawn  is  a  different  animal.

 friends, enemies: pastor  jerome  jeffries  (  @thepastcr  ),  whose  congregation  she  left  in  order  to  follow  the  herd  that  joined  the  project,  a  dear  friend  who  has  found  it  in  his  heart  to  forgive  her.  deputy  deacon  saint  (  @deputysaint  ),  who  is  full  of  so  much  courage  she  can’t  help  but  worry  about  him.  john  seed  ( @sanctemony ),  who  was  the  first  to  approach  her  and  asked  her  to  build  a  radio  tower  on  her  land.  the  father  ( @gqds-gift  ),  who  leads  the  project  toward  salvation.

idk what happens yet but !!! shit happens !!! essentially lev breaks, his morals so skewed because... idk. i have yet to decide what happens enough to screw over lev, big ol’ energetic lev and someone with so much admiration and pride in being a hero.

he completely goes off the radar, joins a group (kept p vague rn bc idk) and mostly does either dirty work or work for hire. he’ll get ur groceries, he’ll make sure some heroes don’t bother you, he’ll be a distraction. however, he’ll do most of the work at night, from ten o’clock to four in the morning

some nights civilians will see him across the rooftops of buildings, for a few seconds. all they can identify is silver hair because of the moon’s lighting. lev wears all black, as well as a lion’s mask that makes it impossible to see his eyes. the only identifying feature people have is the silver hair and the mask. 

some people call him “The Hunter”, referring to the fact that a hero was found injured the same night people saw him on the rooftop, and this has happened several times. the same nights, a white lion with a blue aura was seen wandering the streets. 

masa is that white lion w/ the blue aura ! she prowls the streets and usually accomplishes tasks that are involved w/ hurting someone! 

     TO See what happens in a world where Twice’s loyalty to the League isn’t as honest as it might seem in the surface, we're going to take a short trip to the past....

     A couple of weeks before the Vanguard Action Squad formed, a call arrived to a certain JIN BUBAIGAWARA with a new mission. Twice, a governments special agent with the help of a well paid Giran joined the LOV as a mole, a spy.       Jin barely gave any thought, it wouldn’t be the first time he infiltrated a group of baddies. But with time other thoughts started infiltrating his mind, doubt? guilt? Occasionally he found himself genuinely having a good time with the League. Occasionally he found himself feeling as if he truly FIT IN with the League, he made friends, or what could be called a friendship, with a couple of other members. Learnt their story and felt empathetic to them.      He refused to acknowledge these feelings until it was too late. Twice, a cold blooded murderer and backstabber, had grown attached to the group he was assigned to betray.       Trying to find a compromise with his superiors at the government that would lead with the safety of the LOV only lead him to being blackmailed, threatened, and manipulated to keep on being a mole. Jin returned to his internal pattern with the sol intent of following the directions from the government, but he can’t help himself, and felt guilty of what he’s doing.      The guilt and pain that only grew after Magne’s murder. Taking all the blame on himself, for other reasons outside the ones his comrades believed. Twice, is once again, lost in his life. Attached to people he must betray, there is no escape that he can see. He can only hope no one will find out and a way for him to protect the LOV appears soon.

for  the  moment,  she  simply  stands  there,  listening  as  the  rest  of  the  crew  argues.  to  come  from  intergalactic  transporters  to  rebels  fighting  against  the  company  is  a  big  change.  and  if  she’s  honest,  the  idea  of  having  anything  to  do  with  her  father  again  makes  her  sick.  there’s  no  way  this  doesn’t  end  with  either  a  confrontation  or  a  death  (  probably  both,  if  she’s  honest  )  but …  gaea  lifts  her  head,  locking  gazes  with  the  dark  eyes  of  8.  how  can  someone  listen  to  her  story  and  not  be  motivated  to  do  something?  there’s  a  lull  in  the  conversation.  the  captain  asks  for  her  opinion.  the  urge  to  tell  them  she’s  ‘  just  the  cook  ’  is  very  strong.

              ❝  they’re  going  to  keep  sending  people  to  their  deaths  until  they’re  stopped  or  they  get  what  they  want.  and  considering  the  destruction  these  things  cause  with  just  small  crews …  they  can’t  be  brought  to  earth.  what’s  that  saying  that  used  to  be  on  all  those  old  posters?  know  something,  do  something ?  ❞

              born  to  prestigious  scientists,  though  her  mother  passed  away  while  travelling  to  a  colony,  gaea  lysimachia  had  been  a  rebellious  youth  fighting  against  her  father’s  grooming.  wanting  nothing  to  do  with  her  father’s  plans  of  marrying  her  off  to  a  man  of  his  choosing,  she  hops  on  the  first  off - world  transport  she  can  after  she  turns  eighteen.  she  bounces  from  ship  to  ship  for  a  while,  working  in  the  galley  on  every  single  one  until  she  finds  a  home  with  a  small  crew  on  a  small  skiff,  transporting  goods  between  colonies.  it’s  not  until  they  come  across  ripley - 8  and  are  told  about  weyland - yutani’s  obsession  with  the  xenomorphs  that  their  job  descriptions  change.  they  become  rebels  instead.

ideas and plots. this verse is open to all sci - fi settings. gaea has worked on all sorts of ships, from colony to the spacecrafts of pirates. there’s a lot of open space to fill up and i’m really looking for threads that happen in her past. any and all kinds of relationships are being looked for, such as childhood friends and old crewmates.

ship(s). her default ship is her space girlfriend ripley - 8 ( @thedestrcyer ), who is the entire reason that i have this verse in the first place. universe a has them fighting together to take down weyland - yutani and end the obsession with the xenomorphs. in universe b, they’re soulmates who meet after gaea crashlands and take on a universal regime. vray ( @iolrach ) is another ship that takes place in a completely different universe, a captain to her first mate.

              seventeen  years  since  then.      since  she  met  owen  grady  and  joined  the  resistance  to  make  up  for  the  things  she  had  done.      one  of  the  few  times  they  had  been  separated,  sent  on  different  missions,  and  that  is  when  the  world  ends.      she  manages  to  make  it  to  a  bomb  shelter  (  she  hopes  he  was  able  to  do  the  same  )  and  she  survives.      she  is  left  alone  with  her  thoughts.      she  almost  would  have  preferred  burning.

              she  leaves  the  shelter  and  walks  into  the  sunlight  with  a  new  lease  on  life.      certainly  she  had  made  mistakes.      but  that  was  in  the  past  and  even  though  she  hadn’t  said  anything  about  what  was  going  on  in  the  project,  she  had  given  her  patients  what  peace  and  kindness  she  could.      in  this  new  world,  that  is  what  she  will  continue  to  do.      there  are  people  all  around  hope  county,  those  who  survived  as  well  and  remember.      still,  she  receives  what  help  she  needs  to  make  a  cottage  for  herself,  a  place  to  lay  her  head  when  she  isn’t  gardening.      the  world  is  lush  with  vegetation  and  still  she  gardens,  fascinated  by  the  new  properties  given  to  fruits  and  vegetables.

              mickey,  lou  and  the  highwaymen  want  her  food.      all  of  it.      and  instead  of  giving  in,  like  she  would  have  with  the  seeds,  this  time  she  makes  a  stand.      they  don’t  kill  her.      they  believe  watching  all  her  hard  work  go  up  in  flames  is  worse  than  death  (  they’re  right  ).      she  drags  herself  to  providence  and  once  selene  is  recruited,  they  work  together  in  the  infirmary,  with  gaea  also  providing  herbs  and  tending  to  the  fruit  and  vegetable  gardens  for  the  settlement.

              everyone  has  an  opinion.      and  this  need  to  make  it  known,  no  matter  who  it  hurts,  no  matter  if  no  one  else  wants  to  listen.      the  ‘issue’  with  metahumans,  those  with  powers,  the  gods  among  them,  seems  to  be  everywhere  now.      people  blame  superman.      people  praise  superman.      but  gaea  has  the  idea  that  even  before  he  came  and  made  himself  known,  he  and  the  others  had  always  been  around.      they  appeared  because  they  were  needed.      and  while  the  general  population  seemed  to  just  think  about  where  they  would  fight  next,  what  damage  would  they  bring  on  the  planet ...      she  just  hopes  they  have  someone  they  can  rest.     somewhere  they  can  simply  be  themselves  rather  than  just  heroes.

               no  longer  interested  in  living  her  life  her  father  has  shoved  her  into  and  answering  his  every  call,  gaea  escapes  up  north  to  amnesty  bay,  making  a  life  for  herself  in  a  small  cottage  and  with  a  dog.      she  becomes  friends  with  arthur  curry  and  it’s  the  start  of  something  new,  brings  her  in  association  with  all  types  of  different  people  and  personalities.      she  knows  who  some  of  them  are,  she  knows  what  they  do.      her  home  is  a  safe  haven.      a  place  where  such  powerful  beings  can  be  civilians,  can  be  taken  care  of  rather  than  extending  their  own  energy  and  time  to  do  the  same  for  others.     the  small  cottage  she  calls  home  is  soon  traded  out  for  a  larger  home,  one  that  can  take  guests.       these  metahumans  do  so  much;  she’s  happy  to  do  something  in  return.

key  things  about  this  verse:

ideas and plots. in gaea’s marvel verse, she is a mutant, a hero in her own right. in this verse, she’s only a civilian, her hometown being gotham. if your muse happens to be a hero or someone associated with one, they’re more than welcome to come to her home. it’s kind of like a safe house that is made known by word of mouth. i’m always down for a good hostage situation and there are a few heroes she’s big fans of so if you want a flattering fan interaction...

ship(s): currently not applicable! whoever has a relationship with her in this verse would have to understand that she feels very strongly about the people who come in and out of her home and they would have to share her.

lev is training to become a pro - hero at U.A! He’s apart of the hero course, having scored high points on the practical exam as opposed to the written portion.

his quirk is Spirit Lion, which is an Emitter quirk that allows Lev to summon a spirit from an astral dimension that manifests into a shape of al lion. the lion’s name is Masa, and thinks freely and of her own will. She can attack & defend of her own accord, and is like a companion in battle. 

Lev gets easily exhausted when it comes to summoning Masa- Masa can only use the energy that Lev himself has, so is Lev is tired and running on low energy, Masa will be as well. 

When Masa is summoned, Lev’s senses improve and become more like a lion’s. While they’re not as best as the lion species, it’s still incredible.In regards to Lev’s eyesight, his eyes become five times better than a normal human’s at night. The only reason as to why he can’t see as well as a lion is because he lacks the white stripes beneath his eyes that reflect more light in his eyes. His hearing and smelling definitely improve as well, being able to hear something roughly 1.2 km’s away. 

lev has little control over this, but he’s also able to see something from Masa’s point of view for one to three seconds. It’s sudden and makes Lev unbearably dizzy as it’s pretty much an out of body experience, but he can experience anything that she can  for that time period, including sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. 

any injury that masa suffers, lev will suffer as a phantom pain.
