premise: âafter yeonjoo had saved hongwee a couple of weeks prior (from an anaphylactic shock), he lets the kingdom be combed through to find her, all in vain. on a day like any other, however, when he is on his way back home, he finds her, crossing the street. he runs out of the car he is escorted in, and towards her, calling out to her and causing her to almost get hit by a car. unbeknownst to him, as he runs to her, he crosses over from his universe to hers and finds himself in a world where he doesnât exist. he pushes her out of harms way and gets hurt instead.
[ ì€ì°ìŁŒ ] It was way into noon when Hongwee woke up, his head throbbing in pain and clouded in a medicated haze. There was a soft humming when he first opened his eyes, at first blinking slowly, blinded by the glaring afternoon sunlight seeping in through the windows. What happened? Shot first through his mind. The bed he layed in was soft yet unfamiliar. A sweet scent caught his attention and was cut short when he noticed the smell of piercing disinfectant.Â
Slowly, he began to look around in hopes of finding any clue to what had happened. There were no guards standing by. He was abandoned in what upon second inspection looked like a womanâs bedroom.
Where am I?
The last coherent memory he could gather was of a conference he had attended late into the evening. After which he was released to tend to his personal affairs.
A warm hand wrapped around his. The woman beside him had warm eyes with a familiar glint in them. She, the long brown hair, that smile, he had seen her last night, standing in the middle of the street. How long was she standing there? How long was she standing next to his bed? It was then that he had noticed that he was falling in and out of consciousness.
âI finally found youâ, the prince spoke meekly, but his words came with a genuine smile. âDo you know how long Iâve been looking for you?â
He tried to sit back up, but couldnât.
And the memories came flowing back.
He pushed her away. There was a car and she was standing in the middle of the street, and he pushed her away.
