BRANDING: StackStories
The Spring Garden Road Library is moving to the new Halifax Central Library across the street. Radio producer, journalist and documentarian Veronica Simmonds is recording 62 years of library memories through the exciting StackStories project.
For the month of November, there will be a Speaker’s Corner-style audio recording booth in the library. You’re invited to come and honour the time you spent there by sharing your stories. 16 stories to be added to an online interactive archive and played at a public listening event in the new library.
ALL CAPS Design created the StackStories brand and poster in collaboration with Simmonds and Halifax Public Libraries. The brand simplifies and stylizes the Spring Garden library, inviting patrons to remember the great space. The poster builds on the brand creating hype and welcoming the public to participate in the project. The work is presented in the Halifax Public Libraries colours and the project is made possible in part by Arts Nova Scotia.
StackStories starts this Saturday and goes Wednesdays 12-8pm and Saturdays 12-4pm for the month of November at the StackStories Booth 2nd floor Spring Garden library.
