I always feel the need to add a disclaimer when I draw this guy, so - this is kind of Suiran (my catboy husbando) from the manga project Vermonia. At this point he's not quite, and I’ve been debating what changes I could make to him and his setting to distance them enough to call them OCs, but due to how obscure a franchise Vermonia is, I think I'd feel more like I was just ripping off someone's personal project (even though I’m pretty sure it was set up by a university and a book packaging company). I'll keep y'all posted though, because there's a chance I may just take this general energy and figure out how to base an entirely new set of characters on it in a way that doesn’t seem dubiously ethical.
