–––––––––––QUINN’S STATEMENT IS dismissive at best. she doesn’t want to think about the effects of her statement or just how this conversation will go. but she’s talking, a normal conversation. it’s easy, it’s fleeting, and it isn’t the right time to say what she’s about to. and yet, she does say it.  ‘ i don't need to be loved by you. ’       she quickly moves on as if it’s not a big deal, hoping they barely let it process.

“Deciding who you are can be the hardest thing.”

“look... i did a bad thing for a good reason. you either forgive me for it or  —  well, i don’t know where we go from here.” 

         fingers  idly  fix  the  fresh  bouquet  in  her  grip  as  the  other  speaks  about  their  latest  date  catastrophe  .     ‘  maybe  you  shouldn’t  go  on  these  dates  at  all  ,  you  know  .  ’     she  suddenly  feels  the  heat  rise  in  her  cheeks  .     ‘  i  mean  ,  you  just  keep  ending  up  back  here  talking  about  how  awful  they  were  ,  right?  ’     //     closed  starter  for  @vermillus​  based  on  this  plot  with  tweaked  muse  b  occupation!

       north was feeling quite lonely after opening a letter she’d received today, she’d recognized the handwriting and waited until she was alone to open it, but now she really just wanted to talk to autumn and thi about it. she was sitting out at the back, listening to some music on her headphones as her eyes fell upon a familiar figure and she moved her headphones to rest around her neck. “hey, quentin! come over here and sit next to me.” she could use some company. “i’ve tried to catch you but we’re always on the move.”

“You're the only one, nothin's gonna hold us up.” marco offered a warm smile, “I got you and after all that we've been through.”

“I'm trying to take a picture of you, please stop moving.“

–––––––––––THE WAY THE other had fully taken over every bit of their thought process really scared them. made taylor feel like he had less control of his life than he wanted to even consider. and in an effort to regain some control, maybe telling them would be helpful. or maybe he was in over his head and needed to take a step back but would he be losing something and someone good by doing just that ?         ‘ before you came around, i was doing just fine. ’
