MoMA’s deluxe ‘Oasis in the City,” documenting and celebrating the Museum’s renowned Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden, made it onto three of our Staff Favorite Holiday Gift lists this year: For the New Yorker, For the Jetsetter and For the Luxury Collector! Though the book is chock full of vintage documentary photographs made over the last 80 years, the images posted here are original to the book. MoMA commissioned 8 prominent contemporary artists and photographers to create a portfolio of images related to the Sculpture Garden.
