New Yorkers are surrounded by water, which we may forget, but photographers have long trained their lenses at our waterfront. Three MTA Arts & Design Lightbox photographers, Nathan Kensinger, Jeff Liao, and Lynn Saville are represented in a new show, "Shifting Perspectives: Photographs of Brooklyn’s Waterfront", a survey of 65 photos of the waterfront from the 1930s to present day. The exhibit by the Brooklyn Historical Society launches their new space in Dumbo and remains on view through September.
Nathan Kensiger’s and Lynn Saville’s Lightbox projects are currently on view at Atlantic Terminal and Grand Central Terminal.
