I had just finished ch5 when this post crossed my dash, and that conversation is pretty much straight outta Ch5, so it needed to be 100% more Lukanette. 😂 And me, being indecisive af, couldn’t decide between the simple “hotel wall” bg or, y’know, an Over-Thinking Mari Who’s Still Asking Him This Even After They’re Married and He Just Carts Her Around Like “Yup this is my wife hi”. 😂 So have both I guess?
(I also 100% used the body bases instead of just redrawing them, but I didn’t see an artist credited in the original post? I want to say I’ve seen it/similar on @draw-the-squad-like-this , but I’m not sure? If anyone knows the original artist please let me know so I can link! 🖤)

Six Sentence (er, Children) Sunday: 1/31/21
So. I can’t share what I’ve been writing, and instead of actually writing yesterday I did...this. 😂 All I was going to do - ALL I WAS GOING TO DO - was do the sign and place stick figures around it so I could go back to it later. Then work on LBSC Valentine fic. This is what happened instead.
It’s not six sentences, but there are eight Couffaines and six children, so that counts, right? 😂
If I was smart, which I am not, I would have posted this with the fic last night? Except I was rushing to get it up before bed, and I was having issues getting the image actually in the fic (because it is on Ao3 with the fic), and I didn’t even think about it until Quick said something.
SO HEY GUYS THIS IS THE PIC FOR THE CURRENT LBSC SPRINT CHALLENGE, WHICH NOW ALSO INCLUDES ART AND NOT JUST FIC!!!! The same basic rules apply: 45m to write or draw something for one of the prompts. You then have 24h to finish the pic up however you see fit (the “editing” process for the fic). Maybe that means colors. Maybe you just do quick shades like I did here. Whatever “finished” is to you, finish it (just if you go over time let us know so we have a realistic view of what the time means).
(...oh yeah. The prompt for this one is “IF I HEAR ONE MORE DAMN CHRISTMAS SONG BEFORE DECEMBER I’M GONNA -”
I was actually really surprised with myself for this. I kept saying “yeah Idk what I’ll get done in 45m”, but when I actually tried I got the sketch and lines done in that time. I added the shades in maybe an hour if that after? It was a really fun challenge, and I hope y’all will consider joining us at @lovebugs-and-snakecharmers to join in. We’ve had some great fic come out of these challenges, and hopefully we’ll start seeing some really great art come out of it now, too! 🖤🖤🖤
