College&Living on my own
1 month and 1 day ago. That's when I started my new life here in LA. When I get home, I don't have my parents to cook for me. I have to cook for myself. Make sure I do this. Make sure I do that. Be self-reliable. I do have roommates but, they're not gonna be my mom or dad.
Looking back to how I was in high school, I feel so silly comparing myself to my other peers because once you're in college, they don't really matter anymore. It's all about yourself because you're trying to be successful. At least that's how I feel. I still have friends, go out, and have fun. But in the end, you really have yourself. You ultimately push yourself, you may have your family as a support system but, they don't MAKE you do things. YOU make the choice.
Everything is still so surreal. I'm really living in THE city, in the heart of LA. I'm living out my dreams and chasing for more.
