Destroyed homes,harmed buildings, almost everything had some sort of ruin.

A certain dragon was willing to help,only if he wasn't expelled by angry civilians.

Mondstadt has been dvalin's sanctuary,his home. Without it,where does he belong? He didn't feel like a part of anything outside of the city.

It hurt. A lot. They didn't understand a part of it. Why was he hated? What was this sudden change of heart? He hasn't done anything wrong,has he..?

With nowhere to go,he decided to go to wolvendom. At least andrius's domain couldn't be as cold as their heart was.

They reached andrius' place. It felt more daunting to walk there than to fly here,but he couldn't care.

"Andy..?" Dvalin's voice sounded raspy,hoarse. Probably cause he hasn't spoken since that fight he had with a specific shadow dragon.

"Andy, please, come out,I just-"

A cold breeze. Dvalin's whole face lit up,like a kid opening their Christmas present.

"Dvalin." The wolf maintained that deep,booming voice,yet there was a hint of worry. "Something wrong? You look..tired."

"nothing,I'm fine. I just needed someone to talk to."

"Where is barbatos?"

Silence. Dvalin actually froze at that,both metaphorically and literally.

"Ah..I.. don't know."

The wolf looked even more confused now,a hundred questions swirling around his head. Why did dvalin sound vulnerable at the mention of his archon,why did he avoid eye contact? Why did he look on the verge of tears?

"Come here." The wolf finally said after a bit of stunned silence.

the dragon didn't fight back. Just came closer until he was face to face with andrius.

"..yeah?-" the dragon didn't finish his sentence before finding himself in a hug from andrius. This old wolf has never given him a hug before,so why now?

"..what are you doing..?"

"I saw barbatos doing this to you when you got sad. I thought it would help now."

Silence. Then tears welling up. Then shaking. And finally,the sobbing.

"I'm sorry,I'm sorry.."

"No apologies are needed, okay? Rest."

Dvalin cried until their throat hurt,until he couldn't breathe. Until they finally went into sleep from pure exhaustion, still in the wolf's hug.

andrius didn't mind. He'd prefer having a dragon curled up in his arms than solitude any time. He won't admit that though.
