“Anger should not be our first reaction ever again. Of any of us, the only innocent party is Celestis. She is the one that deserves apologies, not excuses. And I am sorry for attacking you Tierrahnor,” Sol turned to Cel and hopped on top of her head to sit, “And I am sorry to you Celestis, for not hearing your pain sooner than I did.”
“I know,” Ventanus perked up, “Let’s make a permanent reminder for ourselves, something we can gift to Celestis? Something important to each of us?”
Tierrahnor nodded in agreement, “Then I will offer some of the earth I have gathered here…” he pulled at the underside of the plains and moutains, using his pull to form this extra into a ball instead of the flat plane he had created.
Sol, remembering he had already given away the Stars to her announced, “I will gift a way to light to this dirt ball you’ve made, it will be reflective and bright enough that my suns can make it glow when the stars are out. I’ll even put away my biggest sun so your stars can shine sometimes.”
Ventanus looked at the many pockets of water, the biggest being the pool of salty tears, “I don’t have as much to give but I will happily let this influence the water and weather here, at a lesser extent than I.”
Cel smiled as her tears had quieted and she reached out and hugged the other two gods, “Thank you. I love it, this moon has a bit of all of us now.”
With all four touching, and cheerful now, a sense of harmony spread across them and the base world we know now was connected through them.
She let them go and in turn decided to commemorate this they should make each other gifts to have closer than just the moon as well, and the artifacts of the divine were made…
Hex stamps out the last embers of his fire and sighs as the story ends, “And that concludes the creation of the base of the world we know. The birth and growth of the divine to how they are known in the remaining stories in this old book,” he kicks some dirt over the fire pit before heading into his tent…
Mod note: This is pretty much a good scale of their sizes to each other, does not mean I’ll keep to it but it is. And credit for the mlp style moon is based on mattbas’s vectors on deviant art
