#vent..?

in the past, when I tried to come up with a reason as to why I don’t want to watch the TT pilot, I chalked it up to numerous reasons like “oh I don’t like Riggy”, or “It doesn’t interest me”, and “I don’t think it’s necessary” (which those are still opinions I feel abt it), I figured out that the main reason I don’t want to watch it, is because in my head I view it as something that represents my greatest fear when it comes to this fandom, people forgetting about SW.

That’s the main reason, I view it in my mind as a symbol of forgetting the roots of this fandom. Honestly that was sort of a fear of mine when RPK had started up, but this just kicks it up to the extreme. I’ve said plenty of times about how much SW means to me and so seeing people forget it.. moving on.. it really makes me feel terrible… Seeing everyone else praise (and lowkey glaze) the shit out of TT makes my FOMO rise, but at the same time I don’t care as I don’t want to move on from SW, it’s had too much of an positive impact on me that I don’t want to become part of the majority, those who will eventually forget about SW.
