You weren't allowed to use your phone or the computer. No, Steve was an old-fashioned soul who preferred pen and paper when it came to writing.

He kept his hands on your shoulders as you gripped the pen he'd laid out for you.

"Nice and neat now, baby. I know you can do it."

Your answer was only a short squeak as you wrote out the words on the paper in your best handwriting.

Steve squeezed your shoulders lightly, moving his thumbs to find the tense muscles there.

"No, baby," he said, and you stopped. "That's not how you spell cinnamon. Try it one more time."

He let his thumbs do small circles up the back of your neck, but stopped when he saw your next attempt.

"That's not it either. Be a good girl for me and try again, I know you can get it right."

Pulling his hands away from your skin, he planted them on the table on either side of you, boxing you in before leaning down to murmur in your ear.

"Do it right for me, and I'll give you your reward right here on the table. Do you want that, baby?"

You nodded.

"Spell cinnamon correctly for me, just once. You're doing so well with everything else. Try one more time for me, baby."

This time, you did do it.

"Look at you, perfect and neat, just like I knew you could."

He kissed the shell of your ear.

"Do you want your reward now and continue with the rest afterwards, or do you want to finish the assignment before your reward?“
