Omi and Walter had such a loving close relationship that I absolutely loved reading.
A chuunibyou who has a unique way of speaking, but is also a huge strong man?! And he has a moe side where he is obsessed with a mascot thats a zombie shark
(the mascot is grotesque looking, but he finds it super adorable. In my delusions, he bonded with it because he sees himself as this unlikeable off-putting person who others judge immediatly by appearance and mannerisms, even though hes a gentle kind person who cares for others. He sees that in the mascot, a scary rotting shark who is a mascot to promote the city and sea life and help others and is made to sing and dance for kids)
A loving, healthy relationship between such two unique characters, this big chuunibyou man and an android who operates like a computer system, but is taught human emotions by others... it is just so good.
And I think the stories that they gave us with Omi werent supposed to come out so soon, but because they knew the game was going to end, they probably hurried his bonding development with Walter so that fans could get a satisfying relationship between them that they can fondly remember.
There was one SSR where they were having sex, they had red and white clothing. They said how these colors are used at weddings and how Omi wishes he could bond with Walter for the rest of his life. Basically straight up a marriage proposal. And then in another story they had this, where they saw kids playing and were looking at them fondly being like we are staying together forever, I wish we could also have a kid together.
Omi has so much love to give out he would be a great dad, and Walter is programmed to be really helpful and safe for a child so he would also make a good dad in theory. And they held each other and laughed like yeah, that would be a nice idea wouldnt it.
Omi was one of the newest characters but in my opinion he had the most intense bonding with Walter and had a story that implied he is the true ending. The game is designed for Walter to have multiple partners, but whenever I read Omis story I was like wow, they really wrote him as if he was going to end up staying with him forever.
...I could write so much about Omi, I miss him so much. He was in the game for like half a year, why did I bond so much with this character goddamnit.
