Henry Creel | One | Vecna & Victor Creel Summary:

The aftermath. Vecna is defeated. Victor's released and declared innocent. Things seem to be promising now. But Victor insists the real evil's still resides in Hawkins, and it was never Henry.

Meanwhile, Eleven is trying her best not to let her feelings cloud her judgement. But the thoughts of her former friend not being the monster everyone else thinks he is, are fast to take root in her mind. They refuse to leave her alone.

I keep seeing these theories about Henry not actually being the one behind... all of this, and the actual villain is something else that lives in the Creel House, precisely in that attic, long before Henry and his family moves to Hawkins, and it starts to control Henry's mind; basically gives Henry powers and possesses him, makes him do what he did. And you know what, those theories actually make sense.

Summary:

People made mistakes all the time. Even Vecna did.

To put it in another way, Henry — now wearing the skin of what they called Vecna — meant to take Will. The problem was that Will happened to be so far away, out of Hawkins. Thus it explained why Henry's aim was off.

He meant to take Will. Henry — Vecna — got himself the company of... someone else instead.
