In doing a lot of research about radiation poisoning and the illnesses that can result from it long term, I made the discovery that while liver cancer isn't common as a primary illness, it can and does happen, and liver failure is also a long-term side effect of heroin use, and well, maybe it's convenient, but the angst potential is too good.
