Singapore youngsters show awesome way to kill time while waiting for the bus
How would you kill time while waiting for the bus? These energetic youngsters would dance. In a 3 minute 23 second video, a group of seven youths from the School of the Elite Performers (STEP) showed off their choreographed dance moves – a mix of hip hop and modern dance – at a bus stop along Lim Chua Kang road. “If you commute on bus in Singapore, you definitely know how long the wait can be when you just missed the bus. So we decided to capture the experience in a fun dance video! Presenting The Singapore (vintage) Bus Stop!” the description of the video read. The youngsters danced to “Timber”, a song by rapper Pitbull and singer Ke$ha, and the dance was choreographed by four of the dancers: Stephanie Loh, Sean Goh, Edmund Cheong and Kellie Teo. Some of the dancers from STEP have also been featured in a recent Jack Neo film “The Lion Men”. The video was posted on the YouTube channel, vDeology, on 19 January. The video has gotten more than 20,000 views, and many viewers said they were impressed by the dance. One of them, Singapore actor Ridhwan Azman, said, “Awesome work, both videography and dance :) shared! Subscribed!”
