memorial for a rose | dairmaheawood
When Dan had suggested a memorial to Lydia and Danny, he had half expected them both to ignore his presence. He had hardly spoken to them at all during their school years together after all, but he had known that they were important to Aaron, so it was important that he try to include them as well. This memorial was for Aaron, yes, but it was also partly for them. It was their closure for a friend that had gone far too soon. And it was for Blair. It would be hard but she needed this too. It had taken Blair some last minute convincing but they finally arrived at the clearing in the woods where he had told Lydia and Danny to meet them, the cool air and overcast skies somehow fitting for the occasion.
