     absent-mindedly, he runs his fingers over the top of the eevee’s fluffy head, his eyes focused on the computer in front of him. he doesn’t have much to do now that it’s summer vacation. even though there are still elective classes running and students around, it’s not nearly as busy as the semesters. in a way, he misses the hustle and bustle of victoria college when it’s in full swing. 

     “when do you think he’ll come back to get you?” he asks the eevee gently, blinking down at the brown little ball of fluff, contentedly curled up in his lap. he’d fed her a pokepuff earlier, which she had happily nibbled away at, and now that she’s full, she’s just dozing lazily in his lap. or so it seems. she’s warm in his lap and he doesn’t really mind that jiho hasn’t come back to get her yet. there’s nothing else demanding his attention at the moment and he could certainly spend his day in a much worse way than cuddling a sleepy eevee.

daehyun whines to himself, hardly daring believe that the instant he wandered out into the water festival, chaos had struck him. he’d planned to spend the day with tide, since the piplup is the only one of his pokemon who actually enjoys water, but tide, troublemaker that he is, had scampered off almost immediately after they’d stepped out into the open. he supposes the little penguin had been enticed by all the water around, but still. couldn’t he have stayed or waited... 

“tide...!” he calls out with a pout, his eyebrows furrowing together in worry as he searches the area for his lost piplup. the problem is that there’s too much blue around in honor of the water festival, and his piplup is certainly not the only one. he searches desperately, calling out tide’s name all the time, and as time passes, he grows more and more frantic, tears of fright starting to well up in his eyes.

a day off work also means a day that she can visit people she enjoys spending time with. a quick check at her calender ( put together to track not only her own schedule, but the schedule of her brother ) and confirming the older lee sibling should be in his lab, she crossed campus from her dorm to that very location. 

“oopa, good morning!” she calls in greeting, a cheery smile on her, and the morning call not quiet matching to the fact that it’s well past noon. in one hand she holds a lunch box and the other is cradling a rather teary eyed bonsly. “are you busy right now?” she enters further into the lab without hesitation having made plenty of trips here since starting at this school--of course following in her favorite brothers footsteps ( ignoring the fact they’re in different areas )--and she knows he wouldn’t turn her away unless something important was going on.

the evening rolled in and seungho was up from his mid afternoon nap to get ready for work. prancing around his room in his formal work wear which was such a flip from the normal ace trainer get up he normally has. “yo! jiho hyung!” he called, bouncing across the to the door of his suitmate. they’re super close pals and seungho has taken it upon his shoulders to cook dinner on the nights they both find them selves here as he normally has time before work to cook. “is pasta tonight okay? are you allergic to shrimp? jiho hyung!!” he calls through the door, knocking a few times.
