[i imagine they like making fun of each other a lot. a sort of ‘you’re closer to the door 🤷’ dynamic. i’m an open anxifear shipper so i naturally don’t think it’s a sign of hostility, but instead a sign of trust. i don’t have much to prove it on anxiety’s side considering that she barely even acknowledges fear in the film, but i think it’s interesting that fear was the only one to verbally oppose anxiety as she was having them all put in the jar. he’s not the type to speak up if nobody else does, so i imagine that his ‘how DARE you, MADAME’ line was sort of a sign of trust; a belief that she would listen if he openly opposed her]
