In a way, Percy knows he deserves it, even if Vex treats him like usual—she is not her brother. Sometimes Vax has to actually talk to him; because that’s what fighting together means and, if he is talking with Vex, Percy knows that she notices the weird change in tone. She notices almost everything about her brother, and sometimes about Percy too when he says Percy like it hurts to pronounce it.
