I’ve been writing the module and only had the urge to draw a tiny bit. BEHOLD- some sort of merchant noble! Probably! It started off as foreshortening practice and spiraled into everything else. Anyways. Ignore the barely visible shit in the background, that was me trying to distill myself down into some sort of sona on the back of the paper - completely unaffiliated with Vat. I’m going back to my evil sky citadel to continue writing and rotting.

So, I’ve been chipping away at my little project. Vat, the TTRPG/Skirmish Wargame hybrid. I won’t go fully into the details here for reasons rightfully unknown to most, but it’s making me wonder.
Has anybody else done something similar? I’m making this because fundamentally it’s a game I personally want to play, and I’m taking the “if you build it, they will come” mindset. For all I know this is a unique or at least often unexplored genre.
Might look into it more. Inspiration surrounds us. Currently at a roadblock of trying to get a fucking world map done because I like maps. They’re just SO time consuming.

Getting back into developing my ttrpg from a worldbuilding standpoint, and also getting back into being more active here! I’ve come to the crushing realization that I don’t want the languages of the setting to be just me making noises and seeing what I like, but also I don’t have the brainpower for all conlangs all the time. So I’m just going to grab some irl languages. Like Akkadian. And Anglish.
