Let me tell you, this was difficult, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out! Thank you so much for sending it in! Sorry it’s pretty short, it ended up being more of a drabble than anything! This can be seen as either a friendship fic, or a polyamorous one (Sirius x Remus x Reader) so take it as you wish!
A Tail of Three
Many said death was the end. It was where life ended, at least in the human sense. Death in the wizarding world was never finite. It was mouldable… escapable. Many had tried. Few had succeeded. For death was a haze in which you could get lost. Lost, perhaps, but never gone. Not really. For the living cared far too much about their own lives, about the fear of leaving, about those already passed.
There was a story. One told to the young and old of three brothers, who walked down a long, winding path at twilight. They cheated death, and in doing so earned the deathly hallows. But cheating death never meant surviving death. So, they each fell, one by one, to their own deaths.
Death was never finite. For when the stone called to the dead, they came. Ghostly apparitions of wizards, witches, and warlocks who once walked the earth. Some chose to appear in their human forms, looking like the loved ones who left. Others chose different means of corporeal forms. Orbs. Mist. Some chose animals.
These animals represented the magical beings who once lived, often taking the form of the Patronus that belonged to them. Where these forms came from, no one really knew. It changed, you see. For some, it was the road where their home once lay, for others, it was a train station. One known by the many who frequented it at the beginning and end of the school year. For the Marauders, however, it was a small clearing. One they all knew and were familiar with.
The sky was blindingly white, never dimming for there was no darkness to be found here. The land glowed with life as the grass danced in the breeze, the water from the deep lake rippling with anticipation. It was safe here.
A wolf and a dog sat patiently at the water, tucked into each other comfortably, tails lazily flicking from side to side. They had been waiting for a long time. Your life had been a long and fruitful one, something they were both glad to see. But they had missed you. You were the only one left to rejoin your misfit group.
Sirius shuffled anxiously as the water rippled once more, and Remus lifted his head, nudging Sirius to calm down. A moment passed, and the lake shimmered, the surface of the water vibrating.
Then, there was you.
Your fox form, small but agile as you glided out of the water to the surface. The lake settled around you. You had died, but you supposed death was never really finite. You glanced up, eyes connected to those you would recognise anywhere, and you grinned in the only way you could as you bounded straight to them.

You glanced up from your book, “Honestly, Bill, you’re like a hyper child.”
“I’ve never been to yours before,” he grinned, holding up a picture frame, “is this you?”
You tilted your head to get a better look at the picture, “Nah, that's mum when she was a kid.”
Bill nodded, placing the frame down before sitting on the armchair in front of you as he took a deep breath in.
“Y/N?”
You smiled, placing your book down. “That’s my name.”
He paused, his heart beating fast as he rubbed his hands together nervously.Â
You frowned slightly, “Is everything alright?”
He glanced at you, “Yeah, yeah, I’m fine,” he sighed before gathering his courage and pushing a smile to his face, “what do you say to dinner with me tomorrow night?”
I’ve been reading “The Nemesis Syndrome” by @vastfandoms and @immzies-adventures-through-books on Wattpad and so far, it is amazing! You guys should definitely go check it out!Â
You sighed as you walked into the room, dumping your bag on the sofa as you went over to the refreshments table and grabbed a much needed cup of coffee.
“You’re late.” Percy frowned from his seat.
“I know, sorry,” you said half-heartedly, cringing as you the bitter liquid burned your throat.
“Why do you keep drinking that stuff if you hate it?” Cedric smiled, coming to stand next to you.
“It does the job,” You smirked over the rim of your cup, “Have you told your family that you and Penny are - uh - lovers.”
Percy’s face flushed and you grinned mercilessly at Cedric, who just shook his head at you. Penelope approached you across the room and sat down next to Percy, rummaging through her bag for what you supposed was some parchment and ink. She usually made the notes as she had the neatest handwriting out of all of you. You had offered to take the role sometimes, but she was willing enough to do it.
“Alright!” Gemma yelled across the room, calming the many voices, she did a quick head count as her eyes glanced across the room. “Okay, all twenty-four of us are here, so, let’s get this meeting started, shall we?”
Request: I'd love a one shot where you and Ron realize you share the same birthday it can be romantic or just friends :) I wanted to wait til March to ask for this but I'm too excited! Ron and I both have March 1st birthdays!
A/N: Happy Birthday, sweetheart! I hope you have a wonderful day!
WARNINGS: SNEAKING OUT OF SCHOOL, CURSING
You groaned as you turned in your bed, pulling the pillow over your eyes to block out the blasted light that filtered through the windows.
You swore as the warm sheets were pulled off your body, leaving your skin exposed to the colder air.
“Get up, Y/N!”
You groaned, throwing the pillow off you head when you realised your friend would not let you sleep for a little longer.
“It’s not time for breakfast,” You grumbled, sitting up in your bed, rubbing the sleep from your eyes, “Why the hell have you woke me up?”
“Happy Birthday!” Ginny grinned as you grumbled, pushing yourself up as you realised Ginny wouldn’t let you sleep any longer.
“It’d be a lot happier if you’d let me sleep.” You deadpanned.
Ginny laughed it off, “I guess you won’t be wanting your presents then.”
This piqued your interest, “Presents?”
Ginny rolled her eyes, throwing her red hair behind her shoulder as she turned and reached under her bed. She pulled out a large parcel, wrapped in brown wrapping paper.
You thanked her as you took it off her, eagerly ripping into the paper and your mouth dropped open in shock. Inside the paper lay a beautiful deep red robe with intricate gold swirls decorating the hem, collar and sleeves.
“I can’t accept this Ginny - this must have cost you -”
“Y/N,” She rolled her eyes, a small odd smile playing on her lips, “It’s okay, take it - it’s your birthday.”
“Gin...” you pushed it away from yourself and towards her.
“Y/N, don’t make me hex you.” She deadpanned.
You chuckled slightly, pulling her into a hug, “Thank you.”
“Yeah, yeah,” She rolled her eyes, returning the hug, “now come on, everyone else is waiting to give you their presents during breakfast.”
You grinned as you sat down opposite Hermione and Ron.
“Morning!” You chirped, in a much better mood as you saw the food in front of you.
“Happy Birthday!” Hermione smiled as she passed you your wrapped present over the table.
“Happy birthday, Y/N,” Seamus smiled, leaning forward to see past Ginny, who had taken a seat next to you.
“Thank you,” You smiled, warmth blooming in your chest as you looked around at your friends.
“Wait,” Ron’s face was dumbfounded, “it’s your birthday too?”
“Too?” You tilted your head in confusion, “is it your birthday today?”
Ron grinned slightly, “Yeah,”
“Well happy birthday!” You said excitedly, “How come you never told me?”
“Happy birthday to you too,” he chuckled as Hermione laughed, “I can’t say it’s ever come up in conversation.”
“I feel bad now, I haven’t gotten you anything.”
“I haven’t gotten you anything either,” Ron’s ears turned pink, guilt falling into his stomach.
“Oh, that’s alright then, we can just buy each other a butterbeer or something later.”
“It’s Tuesday, Y/N,” Ron raised his eyebrows.
“And the sky is blue, what exactly is your point, Ronald?” You teased, taking a sip from your drink.
“How are we supposed to -”
“Clearly you’ve never been to Hogsmeade outside the weekend,” Ginny grinned devilishly, locking eyes with you as you grinned back at her.
“Oh no,” Hermione shook her head, “whatever it is, you can count me out.”
“What about you, Ron, do you want to do something exciting for our birthday?” You smirked at him.
Ron paused as he swallowed his toast, “What exactly are we going to be doing?”
“Let’s just say that it pays to be the twins’ favourites.” Ginny smirked.
“Shhh, Ron!” Ginny hissed as she ducked behind the corner again.
You rolled your eyes sarcastically as Ron glanced at you, pulling a face. You suppressed a laugh and smothered it beHInd your hand when it bubbled from your lips.
“Okay, it’s clear, come on!” Ginny whispered hurriedly.
You immediately fled from your spot, grabbing Ron’s hand as you tugged him with you.
“Dissendium,” Ginny muttered under her breath, tapping the statue’s hump.
“This leads to Honeydukes’ cellar,” You explained to Ron’s astounded face.
“How come Fred and George never told me about this?” He asked.
“Guess you were never the favourite.” Ginny teased, glancing around, “Hurry up.” She hopped into the passage and disappeared from sight.
“You’re next,” You gestured for him to climb in, stopping slightly as you realised he may be too tall for the passage.
“What if I don’t fit?” Ron glanced at you with panic.
“I -” You paused, struck with the same panic, “Shit, we don’t have time to worry about that - just force yourself through.”
“But-”
“Hurry up, Ron!” You hissed.
Footsteps echoed through the empty corridor, mumbling voices illegible to your ears.
Ron glanced at you and you glared him pointedly, and he jerked towards the statue, climbing into it, grunting as he vanished from your sight. Hurriedly, you climbed in, slipping through the tunnel just as the voices got louder.
You landed with a thud, though there wasn’t the familiar dirt or pebbles digging into your skin. Ron swore loudly under you and you hopped off him quickly, laughing with Ginny, “Sorry, Ron.”
Ron swore at you, rolling his eyes as he took your hand and got up. He dusted himself off and glanced down the long tunnel, tapping his wand with a “Lumos.” You copied his actions, illuminating the tunnel a little more. With that, you began your walk to the Honeydukes’ cellar.
You laughed as you stepped out of the store unnoticed by the owner, the streets quieter without the noise of the students. The sun shone down, warming your face as you looked up the sky, the birds flying over the building casting their shadows across the ground briefly.
You walked to the Three Broomsticks in comfortable silence until it was broken by Ron: “How often do you do this?”
You shared a glance with Ginny before shrugging, “Whenever we want to, really. Whenever we need to get away for a bit.”
Ron nodded, “How come Fred and George told you? I’m older.”
You chuckled, letting Ginny answer, “Yes, but they think that they’ve corrupted us. Thinking like that makes it easy to manipulate.”
Ron stared at his sister for a while, “You’re so much like them, that it’s scary.”
You snorted as you opened the door to the pub and strode in, eyes glancing around for a table before it fell on another two red haired Weasleys and a dark, dreaded head.
You elbowed Ron before heading down towards the twins, who grinned as they saw your eyes fall on the array of snacks and sweets littered across the small wooden table.
“Happy Birthday!” They chorused, sweet wrappers falling from their hands.
You grinned, thanking them as you sat opposite, Ginny to your right and Ron beside her.
“So you brought dear old Ron into this, huh?” George smirked.
“Figured he needed to try something new for his birthday.” You shrugged, grabbing a liquorice stick and biting into it.
Ron reached out to grab a sweet and Fred smacked his hand violently, “You tell anyone about this -”
“And you’ll make me regret it?” Ron finished, the corners of his lips tugging upwards.
“Precisely.” Fred and George smiled.
You let out a little laugh, rolling your eyes as you passed him the sweet.
“Happy Birthday, you two.” Lee spoke up kindly, his eyes twinkling. You grinned at him, nodding your thanks.
“So... butterbeers anyone?” Ginny asked, hand already in the air as she caught the attention of a server.

Request: Hi! Happy New Year! I just absolutely love your blog like, so much. Is it okay if I request a sirius black x reader (during the marauders era) wherein the reader is like sirius (you know, popular, charming, etc) and they have a platonic relationship but the reader likes this boy and he becomes a stuttering mess when the boy talks to her and sirius helps the reader make romantic advances on the boy? Thank you so much! =^w^=
A/N: I love Sirius. Wing-man Sirius is the best. Also, Caradoc Dearborn is a canon character who was part of the Order of Phoenix. There is literally no description on him, so imagine him as you will. Enjoy! x
Your name: submit What is this? // <![CDATA[ document.getElementById("submit").addEventListener('click', myHandler); function myHandler() { var v = document.body.innerHTML; var input = document.getElementById("inputTxt").value; v = v.replace(/\by\/n\b|\(y\/n\)/ig, input); document.body.innerHTML = v; } // ]]>
You glanced at Sirius, whose head was tucked into his chest as he dozed softly, arms crossed over his stomach. You reached over and whacked him on the back of the head, causing his head to shoot up with a start.
“What?” He grumbled, eyes shooting to Professor Binns.
You grinned, chuckling softly to yourself as you leaned further back in your chair, trying to get comfortable as the drowsy voice of the Professor threatened to send you to sleep.
“Twat.” Sirius rolled his eyes when he realised you were just messing with him.
You smirked at him, winking as you crossed your arms over your chest and tilted your head down as your eyes began to slide shut...
You jolted awake as a sharp jab went to your side. “Fuck!”
You glanced up, slightly disorientated from your nap and glared at Sirius, who grinned down at you, grey eyes twinkling. “Pay back.” He smirked.
You swore at him, glad that the classroom was mostly empty, except for the odd disoriented individual.
“Love you too.” He laughed, swinging his bag over his shoulder as he began to walk over to the door, where James was waiting, yawning as he raked his fingers through his hair.
“Here,” Remus passed you your book as you placed your quill and ink pot into your bag pocket.
“Thanks, Re.” You smiled sleepily, “I swear his lessons get worse every time we have him.” You rolled your eyes as you stood from your seat.
Remus laughed slightly, stepping back to let you step out from behind your desk.
“You don’t have the notes for this lesson, do you?” You asked sheepishly, swinging the bag over your shoulder.
Remus laughed softly, “I’m not going to give you the notes.”
“What?” You exclaimed, “Oh, come on, Remus! Please!”
“What’s the matter with you?” James asked as you approached him.
“He,” You jabbed a thumb in Remus’ direction, “won’t share the notes.”
“You will with us...” James looked distinctly worried, “won’t you?”
Remus raised his eyebrows and shrugged, passing James as he headed out the door and into the corridor.
“Remus!” Sirius yelled after him, “Mate!”
James and Sirius both hurried after him and you were about to follow suit but a hand grabbed your arm gently. You stopped, turning to look at the individual.
“C-Caradoc,” You smiled, hoping he didn’t notice the slight stutter, or brushed it off as surprise.
“Hey, Y/N,” He smiled, “if you need notes, you can use mine later.”
You smiled, cursing yourself inwardly as you felt a blush rise to your cheeks, “I-uh, that’s really kind of you.” You were suddenly very aware of the hand still on your arm and the heat of his palm seeping through your jumper. “That wo - that would be great - fantastic even. Not to sound eager or anything - not that I’m not thankful for your notes -” You walked backwards, the heel of your foot hitting the door, “But, yeah - thanks, Caradoc.” You escaped quickly, reprimanding yourself as you turned the corridor, ready to crawl under a hole.
“It was horrible.” You groaned, throwing your head in your hands, “I don’t know what’s wrong with me - it’s like everytime I try to talk to him... I turn into James in the first year.”
Sirius barked with laughter, throwing his head back as James looked on, wounded.
“I was not!” He protested.
“Yes, you were.” Remus choked.
James scoffed, throwing himself back in his chair.
You grinned wickedly, “Not that you’re any better now, mind you...”
“Says the one who almost literally fell head over heels.” He retorted.
You nodded, “Fair point.” You sighed, “I’m hopeless, he’s probably going to think I’m a right freak.”
“Actually, he seems to be quite interested,” Sirius waggled his eyebrows, “He keeps looking over here at you, or it might be me - who knows. I wouldn’t blame him, to be quite honest -”
You whacked him around the head playfully, effectively cutting him off, “I hate you.”
He laughed, “That’s impossible, I’m practically perfect.”
“Oh, obviously,” You nodded mockingly, “You’re oozing perfection, I’m going to have to fight the girls off you.”
Remus snorted, taking his attention away from the window, “Go, talk to him.”
“Ha,” You huffed, “And end up a bumbling mess like last time? No, thank you.”
Sirius rolled his eyes, “Y/N,” he leaned forward, “Trust me, he likes you. You’re awesome and he knows that, so get over to him, and ask him for his notes.” He paused, “And maybe that’ll lead to a little something else.”
“Black!” You groaned, “Had to go and ruin a perfectly good pep talk.”
“Surprising, really, usually James is the one to do that.” Remus snarked.
“Why is everyone attacking me today?” James threw his hands up.
You laughed, standing up from your seat. “I just go over there?”
“Just go over there.” Sirius nodded.
You inhaled a deep breath and nodded, you were about to step away when you turned to face your friends once again.
“Why am I going over there again?” You asked.
“Notes, Y/N.” Peter piped up.
“Right. Thanks.” You nodded.
“Go,” Sirius rolled his eyes, “Or I’ll go over there and tell him all the wonderful things about you.”
“You wouldn’t.”
“Oh, but I would.”
You narrowed your eyes, deciding that you would rather not take the chance. You immediately summoned all your courage and strode over to Caradoc.
“Hey.” You smiled, faltering a little when his eyes connected with you. Merlin, you were screwed.
“Hi, Y/N.” He greeted.
“I - um,” You turned to look at your friends, who all gave you a thumbs up. You chuckled slightly, “I was wondering if you would help me go through the notes - I work better if I’m being taught it?”
Caradoc smiled, the corners of his lips tilting up attractively, “Sure, how about tomorrow, second period in the library?”
You nodded, one corner of your lip curving up, “Okay, so I’ll see you then?”
He nodded, “It’s a date.”
You grinned brilliantly, turning on your heels and striding back over to the table by the window.
“I take it you’ve got a date.” Remus smiled.
You nodded, trying to calm the smile that was threatening to break your face, “You wouldn’t be wrong.”
Sirius grinned, clapping you on the shoulder as James leaned forward. “This calls for a celebration, don’t you think?” He reached into his robes and let the corner of a parchment peek out.
Your eyes darted to the map, smirking as you connected eyes with him, “Yes, it does, my dear Prongs.”
Okay so, I'm feeling like I haven't wrote anything in ages and I don't have enough motivation to sit down and write a complete oneshot. So what these drabbles (more prompts, I think though) will consist of is you guys sending me a character and a single word prompt. Very much like that one anon did. So, for example, send: Fluer. Silk. Or alternatively, send in a sentence you would like me to work around. For example: Fluer. "These flowers aren't right, Y/N!" I'm intrigued to see what you guys will send in, and I'll get started on them in the morning!! So send them in now as I have an entire day off tomorrow to do these for you guys!
You smiled blandly at the cashier, who handed you back your receipt. You took it, shoving it in your pocket before picking up your bags off the counter and walking out the shop.
Your life was black and white. It had always been so. Every child was born with black and white vision, only gaining the ability to see in colour when they had met their soul mate and made flesh contact. Unfortunately, you had not met yours yet, and you weren’t sure if you would ever meet them. Soul mates finding each other were extremely rare, especially since the population was so large and you had no idea whether or not your soul mate was a muggle or had magical abilities.
Your life was the most uneventful in America, and after the war, you were tired of the lack of control the Wizarding Government had over experimenting with the Dark Arts. So, you decided to pack your bags and fly to London, with a letter to your parents and you left your life behind you.
You sighed as you shoved your hands in your pockets, the bag dangling from your wrist. You glanced around the streets, wondering what colours the couple that were kissing softly could see.
You had no idea what any colour looked like, but from the many failed attempts of the people that tried to describe it, you thought red would be the most beautiful.
You were so consumed in your thoughts, that you were roughly jerked out of them when you collided into a body.
“I’m so sorry!” You apologised as you grabbed their arms.
You glanced at the face and felt your face flush as you stared into warm eyes.
“It’s alright.” The woman smiled softly, her British accent enticing as the wind blew some strands out hair out of the plait she had braided it into, “I wasn’t looking where I was going either.”
You smiled slightly, letting your hands drop from her arm.
