i haven't posted about translation stuff here much but yeah there's been some absolutely ridiculous failures of context all over the place, in a way that honestly stands out to me a lot more at a glance than p5's because these failures happening when trying to maintain a grasp on a very complicated fantasy setting and plot-important timeline of events can make it actively harm comprehension of basic plot events of the story (i.e. the english completely losing track of the main antagonist's plot-significant military history to the point that people think louis was kicked out of the army entirely, etc)
sometimes just outright mistranslations, too, like this:
(mistaking 陛下 and 殿下 when the prince in question would have been a literal infant)
i really don't know how these things happen but it's been making me tear my hair out
