one of my D&D characters Name: Varkit Race: Kobold Class: Artificer-alchemist Age: 7 Alignment: ??? Varkit is a young kobold who's tribe was nearly wiped out by a band of adventurers. he and the other survivors were imprisoned, but he managed to escape. it's his main goal to find and free the rest of his tribe, and if possible get revenge on the adventurers that ruined his life. he's not a very nice person, he's happy to wreck other people's lives to achieve his goals and he doesn't particularly care about much of anybody. however, he's incredibly loyal to anybody he cares about, and would never break a promise even to a hated enemy. he holds everyone he meets to those standards as well, believing 100% that anybody can and will get in his way and try to ruin his plans, and that no one should ever break a promise for any reason. he makes poisons and potions and traps, and is pretty good at them. he's just not good at making sure they end up working in his favor. he's gotten in trouble for friendly-fire on multiple occasions, and often ends up causing more harm than good.
