so. uh. i have been working on the next chapter (this one will be from reader's/variable x's perspective). it's sitting at around 7.6k words but it's nowhere near done yet (she has to break garrett's nose to restore balance to the universe) BUT here is a sweet ish moment between her and isaac.

our boy canonically has an eye for fashion (his gala outfit? HELLO?) so yes he will be critical of her outfit given she herself is a fashionable one.

this is a slowburn, and i haven't been the best with constant updates, but i am so glad people still interact with my fics! if you want to be tagged when the new chapter goes live please feel free to let me know 😊

what did she squeeze in there? uh. her dorm room key. a bandage (singular). some cash (she doesn't carry it around often). lipbalm too ig. she probably didn't have it in box leather black, i feel like since it was such a limited run (released in 1984-1985 before its resurgence in the 2000s) she went for this special order:

color vert moyen, lizard leather, gold hardware. the kelly comes with a longer strap to be worn over the shoulder or cross body, but it's funnier imagining isaac holding it by the top handle. another option i've been considering (and also because isaac does like his reds) is this

just dropping these pictures of arlecchino and columbina from the commedia dell arte (source: google images). this'll be inspo for vari and isaac unintentionally matching each other at the first and only rave'n they both attend. it's also why isaac will eventually call her dove, or more frequently, ma colombe 💕

obviously not the crazy color scheme in the photos above, since it's isaac, but i am leaning more towards the colors used for genshin's arlecchino (ugh i love her sm)
